We will stand before Jesus
He is the One who is called Lord

Fully God and Fully man
Lord father give me I do accept that am not perfect but help me and open my outer and Inner eyes . So that I can differenct the goods and bads .
At the heart of all
They don’t love Jesus
They don’t accept Him for who He says He is

It boils down to faith. In a temporal perishable you can loose or walk away fake salvation or a permanent everlasting salvation
There is a difference between following Jesus in our Mind
assuming all is well and good
& following Jesus with ALL our HEART, ALL our SOUL, and the very driving PASSION of our Mind, our daily activity is to reflect and be shared entirely with Him, as is all Glory to Him.
We can tip the hat, and say, yes I know Him or of Him, or about Him
(thinking we may even be better than Peter or Judas for that matter)
but it's one thing for Him to be in us,
working thru us, His will
and it's quite another to rub our belly like Buddha each day aimlessly
and wonder well what is next on the day's agenda.
Those who follow God, spend time with Him,
get their instruction from Him,
are spoken to - from Him in the Word we read and study,
and in prayer, as we seek to do His will.
We can casually say like the Doobie Bros. Jesus is Just Alright w Me
but don't expect much when it's time to report at the gate of heaven,
face to face before Jesus in the judgment seat.
He doesn't wink at sin,
He doesn't grade on a curve
it's either PERFECTION in the LAW - which no one achieves
or PERFECTED in HIM by His transforming gift in us.
I am asking for prayer. I recently left my church honorably. The pastor claims it’s the worst mistake of my life .
I’m not perfect but I am trying to be the best I can be in the spirit
It's good that your departure was done honorably.
God will show you here to be if you seek him honestly.

God doesn't want our religion or church membership
He doesn't want our theology, dogma, or doctrine
He wants our heart, He wants us to spend time with Him
not a pittance - He wants to be with us and in us always,
do we not also want to be in and with Him, always?

Today April 7, The Lord gave me Nahum 3 "Woe to Nineveh!"
America has NOT REPENTED and judgment is coming.
This solar eclipse is not all "hype" as some pastor's claim
if we don't live each day (He freely gives us) of our lives HERE with Him, walking with Him, on earth,
how then do we propose - to live for and with Him in the ETERNAL life?
If we EXCLUDE Jesus here, and do our own thing,
we will be excluded from Jesus (our will be done) there, in the next life.
Key thought: THEY MAY GO TO CHURCH, CHECK THE BOX, DROP AN OFFERING ...
BUT - BUT - BUT
THEY SIN AGAINST GOD,
JUST AS ANY OTHER SINNER MIGHT,
NO DIFFERENCE
NO SUSTAINING POWER IN RELIGIOUS RITUAL OR HABIT
So we should practice humility correct?
Humility needs to be a condition of our hearts, which will then be seen through our actions and heard in our words.
I understand this a little differently. At the beginning of the Sermon on the Mount, Messiah tells us to keep the Law, even the least of the commandments and to teach others to keep the Law. (Matthew 5:17-19) Next, Messiah expounds on the Law showing us that the the standard is much higher than we thought. Then at the end of the Sermon on the Mount, Messiah gives us a glimpse of what will happen at the Second Coming. There will be those who think they are saved but did not keep God's Law and taught others not to keep it. They try to reason with Messiah that they are saved. But Messiah tells them to depart from Him because they made no attempt to keep God's Law. (Matthew 7:21-23) That is why they are said to practice Lawlessness; those without the Law.
I guess they do not realize that God's Law will never go away. The copies that man created may but the copy that God writes on the believer's heart at the second coming will never go away. (Jeremiah 31:33)

How do we establish a close relationship with Jesus
Pastor Lance replies - Teh same way you do with anyone. Spend time with Him in His Word and prayer.
Key Point: This Warning applies to people (who give lip/head service) - LORD LORD
knowing of Him, tipping the hat, checking in so to speak in a flippant and unholy manner quite casually - yet the Confession of their Spiritual Life, does not align even closely to their daily life. They live for Nike a lot more than they live for the Lord.
At least Dodgers (Cubs, Mets, your team) fans are less hypocritical and identify more RELATIONALLY with their team, as it represents their heart. For where your treasures are so therein lies your heart. Do we talk about, and share all the good Jesus does for us regularly?
The frightening part, is yes - Jesus answers all those who call upon His name,
and yes even to the one not living right, His Will is not detoured,
so if a miracle needs to take place to bring glory to Him from someone else,
we who claim to do these miracles in His name - may not be thinking of the person who needs and is affected by God working in their lives, and much less care about them or God, except to say, look we did some good here. Did we really?
God works in spite of ourselves - to bring about His Will as He wills
we have little to do with it, unless we participate rightly and are along for the ride, of Him actually working in and thru us.
Some will feel "cheated" by the Lord not to be given praise or recognition in that day
think about it, we were on death row, sinners with no hope of escape, doomed,
and yet while we were treacherous and wretcherous - He died for us while we were yet continual habitual sinners in rebellion and hate towards Him and His ways.
He exhibited Amazing Grace
is He not worthy of All Glory,
or do we want some when it's our turn
It's not so much what we do,
it's what He has already DONE - Tetelestai - finished - bill paid in full
that says all we need to know

where is your INSURANCE
to validate and back up such a claim?

so basically those people didnt have a relationship with God?
Dear brothers and sisters, don't fool yourself and don't be fooled. You can't enter heaven if you don't do the will of "The Father". God's word is not confusing, even Jesus said that. Worship God, the God of Jesus. Else heaven is not yours.
you could be a GREAT guitarist with the best Electric guitar money can buy,
but unless you are PLUGGED IN, no one will hear your music
Isn't that an interesting point David brings up
Jesus did not REFUTE their claims to having done good deeds or things
Miracles prove nothing,
unless you speak to donkeys,
and not be burned by flaming bushes,
or are a fish's dinner for 3 days -
at least there Jonah cried out to God
It's Not a Formula
It's Not a Ritual
just ask any 8 or 9 year old today - even up to 12 if he is slower,
What Good does 100 Hail Mary's and 200 Our Father's do,
and light a candle, genuflect, and dip your fingers in holy water do?
Yes those who do may casually remember a thing or two about Him and His sacrifice
but it is not taken in "internally"
there is no "identification"
there is no (as ebay says on Buy It Now) - make it yours
the irony there is nothing is ours forever on this earth
even all God gives to us to steward,
except what He put in our hearts and lives eternally.
We may have our strange rituals
but don't these seem like a big waste of time in your day?
What kid wants to rush thru their rosary beads for 20 minutes
to live again as they please until the next time they come to the confessional.
Would had been better to come with an animal of sacrifice,
would have more meaning.
I think they were never born again. He said he never knew them, you workers of iniquity.
