My opinion would be: Cole is gonna be a killer card to have next season. I'd say fade till the playoffs or near playoffs when the Canadiens are out, Brody and Beniers are a bit overpriced being new (if you find gradable ones maybe a good buy and grade), Alexis if you think he will be on the powerplay maybe, but I'd say at least a modest breakout is baked into the price already, Andrei is a good buy now for sure
I have a 1 of 1 UD Allure Golden Treasures auto of Laffy. Pulled it from a random box I bought at a local card shop here in Minnesota. Dang near shat myself!
They were closer to being the 7th and 8th guys. I like Raymond a lot but the price and where he is currently in the wings organization isn't ideal for my liking. Seider is the better player of the two imo but in the hobby goals are king. Unless he scores like Makar, Hughes or fox, I'm passing
@@redcapesports that’s fair, good take on him. I’m more confident in Raymond over Seider long-term, but it’s nothing more than a hunch. Crazy prediction though, I’m calling for Raymond to drop 60 goals in less than three season from now
@@redcapesports I had the same thought a couple weeks ago. Sat on two Seider's for too long and watched the value drop, but then traded one for a Jason Robertson YG (couldn't believe it) and another for Hischer, Mercer and Dostal.

I'd be buying Stutzle, Svech, Connor, Brady, and a lot of other players before Laffy. My problem with Laffy is if he was good on a contending team he would be moved up the lineup but he hasn't given the Rangers a reason to idk I think he's very risky to buy at this point
@@redcapesports I hope it happens cause I have a few Laffy YGs but I look at a player like Stutzle for example whose younger(not by much) from the same year of UD S1/S2 and has proven way more at the NHL level and he's also cheaper

That's fine, however it's a major factor when it comes to the market and trying to sell the card. There's also no debating that if a player is in an original 6 market the card will be worth more $ compared to if he plays elsewhere
I believe it’s very debatable, I’ve been collecting Hockey Cards since 1975 and have never factored a player being on an Original Six Team before purchasing his card. Also never has a dealer ever expressed to me there is a higher premium price because of that. I think you should highly reconsider that way of thinking while collecting.
@@seifman2027 this isn’t even remotely debatable. Original Six markets sell better than any other market. If you don’t understand that, you’re simply not a hockey fan. Good luck to all those buying Kraken YGs for Berniers
Happy holidays very informative
Thanks Joel!
Solid vid. LGR!!!
Appreciate it! Go Rangers go!
William Nylander is UNDER rated
Willy is definitely another player that should be targeted. He's playing in the biggest market too

Thanks for hockey content for cards its very rare stuff!
Yeah everything you said is definitely valid
I sold a raw laffy for 220 canadian before his rookie year started, glad i got that for him as he is worth 1/4 of that now lol
He'll get back to form. Stamkos and a lot of others didn't break out until well after 21

I managed 2 get 15 ygs of svechnikov and converted them in2 a rainbow speckled yg. Did the same thing with oettinger before the jump pn $
Speckled cards are always fun because of how difficult they are to get. Great to hear you were able to do so!

Always wait for E-Pack release before buying any Young Guns from the current year. Prices always, always plummet after E-Pack release.
Yeah if you're ripping you almost want to sell right away but as a buyer it's always been historically better to wait
