Infrared camera finds 6-year-old lost in deep woods

A rescue mission for six0year-old with special needs - with a happy ending! Let me tell you about it.

Here’s what happened: At 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 22, 2020, the Ontario Provincial Police in Canada were called by a frantic mother in in Sauble Beach to report her six-year-old son with special needs was missing. After an extensive search, it was after midnight when an infrared camera on a police helicopter picked out an object deep in the woods and guided police, ambulance and fire crews to his location. He was found in good condition. It was reminiscent of a rescue by the same agency in 2019 of a four-year-old girl who was lost and scared in a huge cornfield. Thanks for watching.

just got my first thermal camea, my god this thing is aweome. i plan on putting one on one of my bigger drones. the one i have know spotted a mouse hopping along a river bank in the snow at about 80 feet from my position.
its a fun toy/tool but i am getting weird looks from people.
a lot of people refer to these cameras as night vision, they work just as well in the day. its all about temp delta's
