- How to Fix SOS Only on iPhone? In this tutorial, I show you how to turn off SOS only mode on your iPhone. SOS Only prevents you from making calls and sending messages on your iPhone. Follow the steps below to fix SOS only on iPhone:
1. Restart your iPhone.
2. Ensure a functioning SIM card or eSIM is installed on your iPhone.
3. Check your Wireless carrier to see if they are having a system outage.
4. Open the settings on your iPhone.
5. Select General.
6. Select About. Once you open About if you are prompted to update the Carrier settings, go through this process.
7. Go back to General. Scroll down and select Transfer or Reset iPhone.
8. Select Reset at the bottom.
9. Confirm you want to reset the network settings on your iPhone.

Hi I have a 14 plus I just came back from a trip and when I turned my airplane mode off it showed sos only at the top I’ve tried everything and nothing works I can’t call, can’t receive calls or use my data pls help me out
You can try to turn off the wifi calling. and contact ur carrier if there is something on their towers.

Hello, if there is no sim card it will continue to say SOS Only. This just means that it is only capable of making emergency calls.

It is a bug installed by apple, sometimes they make them drain the battery fast or make your iphone work slow so people buy more phones, it is best not to install upates very often for a long lasting healthy iphones

My iPhone is the 13 pro I have been though 2 different sim cards my OG one and the last one my carrier gave me to fix the problem it fixed it Temporarily it updated to the latest version of OS and it depends on the timings sometimes it takes weeks for me to see a my phone go to sos or sometimes it I see it go to sos mode back-back 4-5x a day and I need to reboot my my iPhone at least 10x to get it working again any advice given my way I would appreciate it please and thank you in advance
