I like Txsu a lot. i really with they get more numbers, but the Boom. man, them dudes have the precision, balance, power and discipline of a machine. Unfortunately this was a losing battle for TXSU out the gate. Jackson had the power, balance, book and cleanliness.

I don’t see why bands think if they play something they played already that is a bad thing… This is why most songs don’t sound polished… Not enough time to correct the intricate details…like you play it and you move onto the next, and nothing sounds polished, except for the things they constantly run back

@@sufall96TBH, I think its just the era we're in now. The directors, like us, are aware that every game is being watched by not only the fans, but the competition as well. So, if for three weeks straight, we play the same rotation of 15/20 songs (in any order), between the 0 and 5th, its going to be said that we have no book and by game four then every other band is going to have us locked on our songs. Not only that, but we love "wow" factor now. If I here that full band chord or bridge on the first go through, its great, but by the 3rd time? Its cool, i suppose. Hence, the solution? New book each week. Keep the other bands on their toes and keep our sound fresh to the fans. But the obvuous downside is, like you said, not every song is going to hit. TLDR; Things are moving fast and directors trying to keep up. They also dont wanna be called BCC for playing a song three weeks in a row.

Well over arranged may be to harsh a term but that’s the only one that comes to mind. Just like with FAMU we expect what we expect and it took years for them to condition their fans to get used to it.
