this was the first time I had watched a review by the 2 of them it was wall done I do not like bad jokes and useless information everything they said was spot on
I have the 23' model and I love it! Can't complain about anything yet. Much MUCH prefer the X3 interior to the newer models. There are so many buttons I love it! I have almost 10k miles and average about 33.8 mpg. I am mainly on highways, though. 😊
We’ve had 2 x3s for several years, 2014 and 2016. We are getting into higher mileage now so repair expenses are increasing but still very happy with them. Doubt we will replace with new bmws however when the time comes because their insane price increases will make it impractical to do so. Considering Honda or Toyota for future. Will always be loyal fans though.
@@brandonyen7837it’s WAYYYY more reliable then the 2024 GLC that’s already having problems. We took out 2023 GLE in for service they gave us a loaner which was the 2024 brand new GLC and the door panel controls were not working on top of that the screen shut off. The X3 also ranks higher in reliability than the GLC.
This particular model is the best interior and exterior design choice in the whole line of BMW vehicles right now - classy style especially if you take into consideration the newest fully ugly seven and X7 series.
@@SpaceDad42 q5 is to small and pretty ugly, on top of that S model comes with a FAKE exhaust 💩💩 I like GLC but ugly digital gauge cluster (Tesla’s style) and lack of choice between turbo and hybrid engines is a biggest issue for me, coz I hate hybrid and EV. Unfortunately X5 and X7 already got the same ugly iPad style digital gauge clusters on top of that X5 has no traditional gear shifter, after I saw that I just wanted cry… Praying that X3 (2025) will not get that changes.
Entry level Mercedes are trash. Mercedes excels in the high end. S Class was always more superior to 7 series for example. But when it comes to entry level the 3 series for example is the absolute benchmark of that segment.

Hey your two. Great video. There is an issue with this one on the 2024 BMW X3 with M Sport package. Just ordered one and later found out the M Sport package includes some Shadowline Trim, but NOT the Blacked Out grill that is shown in your video. That grill only comes with a separate $400 Shadowline accessory package. Confusing per BMW's own description of the M Sport package and the seemingly duplicate use of Shadowline again in the grill accessory. I was able to modify my order, but it pushed my delivery back a couple of weeks.
My Wife got this, and it is so damn good. I have a 2014 3335ix GT myself, Her's is better in most ways. The HUD and tech package is absurdly good. It is peppy and handles great. Love the thing. We average much better MPG always. They updated the G series so much that is seems still modern with the lights and other bits. Glad we got the last year of a refined model before it went jellybean. It also sounds great for a 4 cylinder, I have the N55 in my car and it sounds great, I didn't expect the B48 to compare but it sounds and drives great! The torque curve is different but it is a beast for the application as the entry level. 6 second 0-60 stock is dumb in a compact SUV. The HUD, tech package, and all of the top shelf tech package made this one of the most fun vehicles I've ever driven. The ZF-8 packs the paddle shifting great as well. How they got the cabin so quiet is amazing, wind testing paid off.
I’ve had 2 2017 X3s -> a 2.8 and M package which I don’t see on the roads anymore. Traded them in for a 2020 M40 that I plan to drive as long as it runs. Only 15 k miles. Love everything about the about it. Ridiculous power and handling. I really like your channel. The points you highlight in reviews are unique for you and informative. Do you think there’s any significant advantages in the X5 over the X3? It’s just myself and my wife and the X3 seems to be the perfect size for us. I just purchased a 2024 X3 XDrive with several option packages in Mineral White. It’s really a great driving and nimble SUV. Comfortable and sporty luxury vehicle.
Recently ordered a 2024 X5 and wish it still had physical climate control buttons like this! Also, it's pretty lame neither the X5 nor X3 have remote rear seat releases.

Better get a 2024 while there is still a pretty good selection. The 2025 is not as nice especially with the dash design and excessive use of led screens .
..and the other, sometimes forgotten aspects of the larger wheels (beside cost) , you'll suffer in ride quality and those larger wheels have different wheel widths making tire rotations impossible.
Agree with @DisneyMusicVideos...the 2025 model will get the updated dash & large wrap around infotainment screen...and lose many of the touch button controls.
Previous BMW X3 model engines have defective design that leads to permanent engine failure.I would not rely even on newer BMWs past the warranty period. In the past customers have faced engine issues ranging from timing belt to fuel pump low pressure resulting to engine blow outs. BMW dealers are quoting anything in the range of 15k to 20 k for engine replacement with no major recalls on this issue. There is also a class action suite for these defective engines for which BMW was asked try the courts to compensate the affected customers. Absolutely a lemon of a brand !
Love my X3, this color in my opinion makes the car look cheap...rest is supper. Has no spare, these are still runflats? one thing I did not ask my dealer.
This is pretty late, but I would personally chose the X3. It’s very reliable, it has better quality and it looks better (to me). It also gives you way more for the price. The X3 comes standard with adaptive/concerning headlights, and also a pano sunroof. And if you listen to music , it has a better standard sound system that has more bass and more quality speakers. The upgraded Harmon/Kardon speakers are good too.
Stopped by a BMW dealer today and tried out an X3. There was nothing about the car the screamed luxury vehicle. I expected it to be more plush. I was surrounded by hard plastic and a piano black center console. It was less comfortable than my 2008 Toyota.
Got rid of mine after 3 months. 55k and everything rattled. Too much money for all the plastic it presents. Engine and transmission seemed ok. Disappointing workmanship for the price. Just me…
So once again the safety and driver assist features that come standard on the even the lowest trim levels on a Honda CRV you have to pay extra for on another German make. Ridiculous! I just think more an more you are paying a premium for the name and legacy of BMW and Mercedes and nothing more (and half the time you are not even getting real leather!) And a laughed at the beginning when Mason lowered that tiny second row window! And no front ventilated seats either?
In all seriousness though… I had ventilated seats on my SUV… no one used it except for me. I liked it but did notice that it just cools you, not the seat. You could say the same for heated seats if they are perforated the air just comes through and cools the interior foam and the air escapes through the holes in the seat. In all honesty both are not that helpful, Air through the vents are better and free
@@SCraig-Handsome We use the ventilated seats a lot during summer. I guess it depends where you live, but in Southern California on a hot day, wearing shorts and sitting on hot leather seats, it really helps!
@@FunAtDisney Yeah true… it does help a little but you do need to wait for it to cool down… remote start and a Panoramic roof is probably better, you can cool it down and let out all the heat through the roof

Buy a Toyota and enjoy it repair free for many yrs... BMW, Mercedes, audi are for status and cost the rich owners $$$$$ after warranty.. they can afford it.. most 99% want reliability number 1..

G01 are much more reliable cars compared to F25.

10k more for the M model... looking online now an there are dealers listing these things well over 90k. Thats about 30K+ more... that is just insane.

Problem with those wheels is they hide the blue M brake calipers or red ones if you upgraded for that colour option

Glc 300 is very much better than this on all. Very sure if you would try GLC then come back x3 .
