If you're so inclned, and IF you have them, you could also stick some whole cloves into the orange peels, then you could put them on the stove themselves, put them in the fire, or put them in a small pot of water on the stove. As they heat up the aroma/scent fills the cabin. Very festive and warm scent. P.S. Just putting whole cloves alone in the fire, or anywhere they can be heated adds great scent to any space. I used to sprinkle ground cloves on my home carpet, let it stay for about 15 minutes, then vacuum it up. Made my home smell like I was baking. 😊

Put it on the stove top is even better with some pine leaves. Frankincense is fabulous if you can source it.
