Today we are checking out some mods that let you capture enemies and put them in your ship brig Link below to the mods creations.beth... creations.beth... creations.beth...
Some additional features of note: * Full brigs offer “Brigs control terminal” that gives you a prisoner count, count by category, and door options. * There is a buildable brigs terminal in case you don’t have space for a full brig. * You can also sell any prisoner to the red mile. * Game options are a thing. You can tweak whether or not you want certain types of gear to be sent to your cargo. You can also turn off the requirement that you must be out of combat to send prisoners to the brig. * You can use social skills to make people surrender (diplomacy - they will put their hands up too) or allow you to just cuff them (manipulation).
I'm surprised this wasn't already in the game when the BGS released the tracker alliance expansion. There's some pretty smart people out there, I'm glad they're coming up with stuff like this because this is more like a QOL feature. It would be cool to see how this works with the trackers alliance... Maybe even some other instances where it works such as, the mission board. This definitely does "get the wheels turning"
Heck, Bethesda didn't even add the option to close the door on the Brig habs; once you open the door that is it, it is open forever. That sort of half-baked approach really encapsulates some of the features in Starfield: Outposts lack purpose, 4 out of 5 ship manufacturers share hab interiors, some 'advanced' tier weapons weren't included, etc.
It bears repeating: CHARGE your EM weapon before each shot. Hold the trigger until the weapon hums and then fire. On the default difficulty this is often a one-shot attack. Never spam fire EM weapons.
Coffee time! Sneak attacks with nova blaster generally one shots everything up to hard mode. Em equinox is fantastic for up close in auto. Shotty em is also fantastic. Nice review, great video.
I honestly quit playing for a while because of work and depression. But now mods are galore hopefully they gave a boost to the game and will motivate me to jump back in.
Yeah, it was a bit painful watching this video when the entire time part of me wanted to cry out, "Skill issue! User skill issue!" It's more than just making them 'reasonable', it's actually how they're 'meant to be used'. Each charged shot probably does like 50 times the stun damage of a non-charged shot, and you don't have to worry about targets recovering as much from the stun damage.
@@XoRandomGuyoX ...to be fair to @CrimsonFlyboy, and everyone else, some things in Starfield can have steep learning curves (e.g. Outpost building, EM Weapons), and other things just aren't working in the manner that they should (e.g. Arboron Novastrike Sniper, some Planetary Landing Zones), and because it can be either of those things, or anything else in-between, you just never know if the 'thing' is the problem or if it's just 'you'.
@@InconsequentialGaming EM weapons should have a loading screen tip about them. There's also a quest that specifically introduces you to the weapons and how to use them. If anything it might be a bit more surprising that the Mag Sniper has a charging mechanic. Personally I still like the Hard Target though.
Weapon balancing bugs me a little in this game, but I'm not eager to hop on weapon mods because I don't want to make things "easy" I just experiment at the workstation. I like this mod! Thank goodness for modders...and those like you who demonstrate and review this stuff. Thanks, bro.
I like the mod and put the 2x1 armory with brigg on almost all my ships to use it. Just wish the mod author would patch it to work on all the modded briggs like Mariner or crimson ones. Also the trackers sniper rifle has an EM module that one shots anything for capture.

How do you change the game options for the mod?
@ It’s in the starfield settings menu as Gameplay Options. All settings relating to Useful Brigs will start with “Useful Brigs - “

I told myself that I wasn't going to load any more mods. After seeing this, I'm calling myself a liar.
09:09 ...just so you're aware, the EM Weapons can be charged by holding down the 'trigger button', it makes using them much more "reasonable".

I wasn't aware you could do that lol. That would have definitely saved me some time haha

Okay I really love these mods... This is how it should have been.
I love this! Thank you!
casually mentions selling people like it's the normalest thing in the world.
Yeah I usually capture settlers and sell them to the crimson fleet all the time 😂

The 2x2 brigs DO have a computer you can interact with for 'useful brigs'. You kept passing is starting at 9:42. it's on the desk.
You have to try his "alternate Vasco" mod the amount of variation you can give is outstanding.
I've had best results with a fully modded novablast disruptor. If you sneak up and hold the trigger until it builds up and it one shots those bosses.
SF has a good list of un utilised features
You must charge your shot before to shoot ! 😊
A possible mod Better EM Weapons (One-Shot Stun) One shot is from charging the shot, regular shots are apparently weak
I dont have that peoblem with EM weapons when im using something effective like a big bang
Broooo you totally forgot to check the brig control terminal
Take a look at this mod: "Overpowered Weapon Pack". Really amazing weapons, and the mod contains a very powerfull EM weapon.
15:56 this is what happens when you don't finish the ashta missions..
