    Hey CSI thank you for the uploads. Its a pleasure to watch the highest levels of pool being played. I would like to make a suggestion, please designate the 'table level' view as the primary view and the above table and side view as secondary views. The above table view should not be used as much as it is in my opinion. It is hard for our eyes to relate to the angles and thus difficulty of shots ect from above the table being that we never see the game from that view when playing. I realise that view has been used since pool started being recorded but just because it has been used for a long time does not make it optimal. Just a suggestion. Thanks for the uploads.

    I re-watched the 2nd to last 8-ball attempt by Shane and the ball seemed makable if he used the bridge, particularly given how close it was to the pocket. Or am I missing something because there is no camera from the top aiming down?

  • @marshalcraft
    @marshalcraft 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    glad to see you guys brought the tool shed back to do commentary. Shane made the 8 in the side pocket twice, he must love the side pocket in 8 ball... Alex should have started asking SVB if he like the side pocket a lot, maybe would of got in his head. Also apparently every 8 ball rack is an easy out. Hasn't even racked them yet, "yep should be an easy out"

    • @marshalcraft
      @marshalcraft 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah that's just the way i've always done it I guess, seems more symmetrical that way. But I suppose those 2 corner balls always shoot off rail and always land on opposite side of table, putting 2 solids/stripes always together on one side of table. Never thought that far into it I guess, and just developed the habbit.

    I wish CSI would find some better commentators. George isn't bad but Freddie is constantly second guessing Shane's choices because he is apparently an intermediate player trying to follow what the number 1 player in the US is thinking. He and the viewers would be better served if he just tried following along and learning something new about the game. There is a reason Shane is rated #1 and Freddie doesn't get it..

    • @steveghisallo
      @steveghisallo 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In that respect I think George is far worse, and a master at ruminating over the obvious. I'm sure the most pedestrian of viewers knows what ball will be shot after the last solid. Give the viewers a little credit and let them watch without the rambling.

      1 ball on top, 8 ball in the middle. The rest don't matter.

      @@digitalbookworm5678 The 1 ball does not have to go on top, and the rule for racking in 8 ball is that there has to be a mix of solids and highs on the 3 corners. Any ball but the 8 (in the middle) can be on the spot.

      @@gregoryanderson9788 Yeah the one ball on top is a holdover from the days when bars and pool halls would buy an extra ball to go with a set. They always had an extra one ball. 😏
