Mini Dairy Plant is advanced to Organic Milk (at Farm Level), here the farmer can pasteurize the milk with the help of a batch milk pasteurizer, and standardize the milk fat with the help of a cream separator. The pasteurized milk is packed on the same day to improve the shelf life.
SS Engineers & Consultants has designed three modules of milk processing for the farmers to choose from based on their milk production capacities.
In this module, the farmer after the milking will collect the milk in the balance tank through a screen filter. Then transfer the milk to the refrigerated vat to cool it to 4° Celsius. While cooling the milk immediately after milking the bacterial growth will be retarded and the milk remains fresh.
Here the farmer can buy the milk from other nearby farms to process and pack it as liquid milk and other milk-related products. The capacity of this plant is 3000 litres of milk that can be packaged. You can standardize the milk fat by removing the cream and this cream can be processed either to butter or butter oil or ghee.

Hi, The video and content is really good. However, the process flow chart should be a Block flow chart. For the part of pasteurization from raw milk. Does it use Plate Heat Exchanger? Then it should be transfer an another unit to complete the pasteurization process because Plate Heat Exchanger is not high efficiency and hard control the temperature. Thank you for your videos.

Pasteurizer is known as HTST means High Temperature Short Time milk pasteurizer. In this instant heating of milk is carried out with steam or hot water to an ambient temperature to kill all pathogenic bacteria during short time holding & rapidly cooling the milk to 4C to retart the growth of left over bacteria if any.Instant heating & chilling of milk is being facilitated in HTST Milk pasteurizer with temperature control. Where in batch type milk pasteurizer time & temp control is not possible.Further both cream separator & Homogenizer can be operated in line with HTST milk pasteurizer. In batch type pasteurizer it is not possible.

The quality goes down in three to three and half hours. So basically low quality milk is getting cooled. There are BMCs which cool immediately.
