So happy I finally gave this franchise a go. So many masterful compositions to go with a great cast of characters and fun gameplay! The amount of dedication people show for fan-made content and renditions such as this makes it all the more heartwarming! Thanks for creating and sharing all these remasters!
The fact you went and made an snes rendition of every track in the game is amazing. Edit: I’m curious and excited to know if you’ll do the same for PCB. Love the music from that one
Thanks! Yes, I'll try to do the same for PCB. I already made most tracks but since it's been a while, I would need to upgrade the graphics for every character to make a full OST video like this, so it may take a long time...

Man, Touhou would've been absolutely perfect on the SNES. In fact, I think the series would've benefitted greatly and would've reached a far wider audience if it were (big enough to have already had some sort of rep in Smash even). The PC-98 could've been NES games as well!
I see you used the original MIDIs as a basis. Nice one. (Probably made things a lot easier because you didn't have to transcribe all those songs.) The spritework is also very nice.

@@fumodrip3017 eu gostei muito dos sprites das personagens, q ele usou no vídeo, mas um porte/demake é complicado, seria mais fácil fazer o jogo todo do 0, assim aproveitaria todo o potencial do snes e seus chips
Hey, Nugem, did you use GSS Project to make these remixes? If not, what program did you use? If so, I'm going to guess not all in one go? I'm curious if you did, as I've worked on a snes remix project for touhou 6 of my own, and I barely could do all of the songs in touhou 6 before it would run out of space for an actual rom to handle.
Each song was made separately in a DAW using SFs and VSTs. Remixes made with actual SNES programming have the SPC700 label in the thumbnail and the .SPC file to download in the video description (when available).
The sprite art in the thumbnail is PHENOMENAL oml
That snes shine is so recognizable
Now all we need is for someone to port EoSD’s gameplay to SNES.
yes
I don’t think the SNES would handle any PC era game, I doubt the N64 would be run them without any compromises
i plan on learning how to make snes roms but i believe that it would have to be remade like guy above me said
You guys know there's enhancement chips for the thing, right...?
Well, how many bullets could the SNES really handle before it starts to vomit all over the place?
All rise for the 16 bit consoles, the greatest gaming era of music and graphics
Pretty good overall. In particular I give the track starting at 4:44 a ⑨ out of ⑨.

¡Ustedes dos son muy divertidos! Gracias xD
I have to thank you dearly for this one. This video is like pure, condensed nostalgia.
The beginning of the original trilogy of Touhou Project's Windows Era! *Now ported on SNES?!*
This video is a gem. I love all the cute animations, nice job

This is awesome! To my personal music playlist it goes! Perfect for running in the background while playing. Thanks a lot man.
am i the only one who loves the pixel characters?
Nope
25:22 I like how the sound of the song sounds like a Flandre's scream.
.I always like this part. (24:59 - 25:23).

I want to know if it's possible to replace the original OST with this one instead. Awesome job dude
I think you just need to replace the .wav files in the game BGM folder. I'll try soon and upload the mod if I succeed.
@@Nugem is that really that easy? I'm gonna try that, thanks man!

sim
