Worked @ Lowes in the paint dpt all i sold was gallons of beige, grey, greige(grey&beige), white, & off white. Nothing else. No beautiful colors. #BORING!
Overall it is a sophisticated apartment. My favourite is the lounge room. The only spaces that l find too dark are the kitchen and bathroom. Perhaps the kitchen ceiling could be white as the bedroom ceiling is. The amount of furnishings is perfect for a limited floorplan.
So lovely, it would have been great to break away from the blue especially I’m the bathroom to create a different feel in the apartment. The dark moodiness of it all is lush but it would have been great to have zones, having a flow but playing more with tones.

Growing up we lived in NYCHA and while my parents worked towards a better future we were reminded that what happened outside that apartment door was not the standard in our home. You are demonstrating this visually, that just because you live in NYCHA there is no reason to not have a beautiful clean home.
I think the dark colours worked in the sitting room area and bathroom. However it is what the client wants, In an area where both the kitchen and sitting room merge having the kitchen in that dark colour focus you eye away from the kitchen especially if you are someone who does not cook a lot..
I like the concept of the darker walls but wish that the ceiling in the living room was 3 shades lighter. I don't understand why the window frame in the kitchen was painted out in the darker color, a lighter color would have brightened that area a little. Overall, I think the designer achieve the effect that she was striving for in the apartment, and it seems inviting.
I like the design but I couldn’t tell how this could work for being someone’s home. Is the fridge hidden? I didn’t see closet space. Not much cabinet space for home appliances. Is this considered a short term stay?
