Possibly the best down to earth beach detecting channel on TH-cam. No frills , as it is days out . Awesome round up gives really good look at finds . Thanks for sharing 😊👍🍻
Ty mate.much appreciated.i like the lead figure and jockey better😀the bit of gold will come to good use though when i eventually find enough of it to make something with it
@@lincolnshireshistory6877 love seeing the depth of history in the UK! We're still frozen out of digging here in Alberta, Canada, so thanks for the treasure fix!
Didn't see you down there today bud? Must of had my eyes shut. I was just off the end of the pier for a couple of hours until the weather opened up big time! Only found a few Vicky's, a George 5th pennies and a broken silver buckle ring.
I hope I’m wrong as a lot of nice history on the beach amongst the crap I take off it ,not sure which beaches affected sounds like cleethorpes is one really is a shame tbh let us know if you hear owt cheers Sam
@@lincolnshireshistory6877 Cool, I Would like to read the interview when its published, could you post a video about it. I live in Louth, just hope East Lyndsey council don't do the same for Skeg and Mabo beaches.
Saw the piece in the local rag. It looks like a done deal to me, hiding behind the SSSI. There aren't enough of us for a meaningful protest. Thank God I have got some land!
@@ChrisJohnson-pd4hh a friend been intouch with hes council friend and apparently its not the council its another organisation its not set in stone have been told ther having another meeting keep you informed
Have you heard about the council ban on beach detecting at Cleethorpes? I bet this is a money making exercise where we will have to buy a permit. When I started detecting in 1980 you had to have a permit but i think it was free then. I have go say although I don't beach detect as much as I would like nowadays I am disgusted with Cleethorpes council trying to penalise what is after all a good, clean, interesting hobby. And still the effing boy racers tear round Cleethorpes as they have done for decades. The place is backward looking!
Hi Chris.i was aware end of last year they was talking about the ban on Clee.it is ridiculous.the kids dig bigger holes than us detectist do.and it more than likely is another money maker for them.they have more than likely seen how popular its become.its a total joke relay its not ideal but hopefully we can purchase a permit.i know you used to need one then they scraped it
@@lincolnshireshistory6877 Further to my comment about metal detecting on Cleethorpes beach. I have been in touch with Cleethorpes council, past from pillar to post. It appears they won't be allowing what they call "speculitive" metal detecting, eg hobbyists. Only archaeology backed digging and official searching for pipelines etc.... So it's beginning to look like curtains for law abiding detectorists. The rogues will carry on regardless I guess.
