I really do hope you will continue this show. You will love it, im sure. Watching others react to my favorite show is almost like watching it again for the first time 😊
One thing you should keep in mind in regards to traction on videos, is that TH-cam videos are essentially permanent. You can't judge a video's worth simply by its initial traction, especially when your channel is new and small. But the more important thing to realize I think is what actually gives a channel a loyal following. Yes, new videos bring people in, but the reason people stay is because of your past videos. Having a catalogue of finished series is probably one of the most important things for a reaction channel to actually grow and sustain viewership. People will find and like your videos, and then they'll look for more content on your channel to watch. But if most of your videos are incomplete series, most people are going to be discouraged and will just leave. I just think that it's a very important thing to consider, rather than going by current views alone. The key to TH-cam success is consistency, and if you don't have much consistency with following through on shows, it's gonna be a lot harder to grow or attract loyal subscribers.
this is a very good point. when i look for reactions to my favorite shows/video games, if i see a person has only ever done a few videos and then dropped it, i don't even bother to watch the ones they have up. but if i find a channel that has watched the whole show, even if it was a year ago or more, i watch through the whole thing, like every video, and even sometimes leave comments. i really hope she continues through the whole series even if the initial traction is less than she hoped for.
@@MonAhgasInsomniAroELF Yeah, same. Honestly, a lot of times I even will click out of videos when the reactor expresses that they might not follow through. Like, I don't want to get invested in the reactions only to have them suddenly stop. A lot of times I'll wait and see if they actually continue/finish before watching the videos.
the character development in this show is phenomenal, you will not be disappointed. ;) honestly yeah, it's probably primarily a youtube algorithm issue that more people haven't found your awae reaction yet, though it is still early, so maybe give it a few more episodes? personally i just do a search every few months to see if there are any new awae reactions up which is how i found yours lmao, but most awae fans probably aren't as proactive as me about it, so it may take some time for them to find it. in the meantime, i've subscribed to you specifically for this show, so i really do hope you continue 🙏
the algorithm definitely is not doing it's thing bc i miss anne with an e so much that i'm constantly looking for new reactions and i did NOT see any of your vids, i just happened to click on your channel after watching your queen charlotte reactions and i was like OMG YES
This show is very underrated. Not many people watched it but those who did are very vocal about it and absolutely love this show. I personally love it for the story, acting, the set, the direction and the way of storytelling of an already known story which has been made into movies several times. I would love for you to continue.
I'm a late comer to Anne with an E. I've heard about this program for a couple of years but even though my mother was from PEI and I've visited the island and relatives up there a few times, I never quite had the urge to watch it. I guess that's mainly because I'm a "Band of Brothers", "Private Ryan", "Mission Impossible" kind of guy, but one night after searching for something new and not finding anything that piqued my curiosity, I decided to pull the trigger. What an emotional roller coaster from start to finish. You couldn't help but fall in love with Anne with an E and were pulling so hard for her to succeed. The cast was so great too, with the people who played Matthew, Diana, Gilbert, Sabastion to name a few. I've seen a few other reaction videos of this show, but there mostly about 3 years old and I felt it was sort of useless to comment, so now it was great to find your recent video. In this video, it was so great to see Anne's reaction when Matthew said "She's my daughter!". She wanted so bad to be a part of a family. Then when she signed the bible, she was truly "home"!
I think I‘ve always appreciated Anne‘s consistent honesty and vulnerability but you putting it into words really made me realize how special and beautiful it is
Excited for these recaps/reactions! I grew up on LM Montgomery works and tbh she stands equal to Jane Austen in my esteem for her literary work and her biography. (Some raw realism about mental health and family problems in her own life, but actually expressing it in an honest way that makes sense in the context of her time period and background.) I love how this adaptation dresses their sets and costumes-it really reminds me of my Canadian hometown museum settler history displays. Farm work was HARD, and as the Cuthberts are doing almost everything by themselves to make a living from a working farm, Green Gables is not overflowing with Victorian luxury goods. Almost everything is practical and utilitarian and made to last/probably an heirloom. I was watching a historical farming documentary narrated by Geraldine James, who plays Marilla (the Tudor Monastery Farm series featuring Ruth Goodman,) in this so I got to thinking about Anne with an E again and remembered I’ve been meaning to go through and watch your reactions for a while! (James’ accent work is first-class Maritimes, here.) The actor who plays Matthew here also played another LM Montgomery character, Jasper Dale, back in the television series Road to Avonlea, which adapted other books and stories set in the overlapping universe of the fictional community of Avonlea. And one of the major producers of this series played Josie Pye in the Sullivan adaptation films. (Which are their own beast with their own merits and flaws and as a LM Montgomery book girlie I Have Thoughts and will fight Kevin Sullivan in a parking lot.) Sullivan’s films are more romanticized than this adaptation, which some people prefer, and which caused some Drama because a few prigs thought this Anne adaptation was Too Woke because they let a kid be visibly traumatized and went with realistic healing rather than a more rosy-coloured-glasses interpretation. But the nostalgia for the first two Sullivan films does go hard. I can stomach those two (but will Discuss parts of the second) and then refuse to acknowledge anything produced beyond them.
I LOVE this show so much that I check out a few channels that have done Anne with an E and was pleasanlty surprised to have seen your video on this series when I opened my TH-cam app. I do hope you get to continue the series
7:25 it’s funny you say that during this scene. When watching TLOU, the scene where Joel thinks he saw Sarah, always reminds me of this (5:15) scene from Anne now. Different meanings and heart tugs to both scenes. Fathers man... They get me.
I hope you continue. I just found your reaction videos from the reddit forum and got excited about it. I've never seen reaction videos for this show before. I can't wait to see how you react to season three, especially the last episode. I love talking about this show, but I don't know many fans, so videos like these make me happy. Also, keep in mind that people love to binge watch series. So many are more likely to wait until a lot are posted before watching. Some of my favourite series, I won't watch until the whole season is posted so I can go right to the next episode. For example, I love the new Goosebumps show, and I regret watching it because I have to wait a week for a new episode. I'm the same way with book series now. It's something I try to keep reminding myself because I'm an author and my books haven't gained much traction. One of my favourite book series is dragging out, so I wish I didn’t find it until the last book came out. It's funny, because I grew up in time when we had no choice but to wait a week for new episodes, but I don't have that patience anymore, lol. I honestly think the more you do these, the more people will watch, especially when they know they can watch all your videos in one sitting.
I just finished watching Anne with an E the other day and after falling in love with it so hard I've been looking for reactions because I wanted to watch it again, this time with other people's perspectives and reactions. I'm so glad you decided to continue reacting to the series, and I can't wait to relive it with your other videos! Your perspective really has been so interesting, with insights into Anne and Marilla that I was also thinking of but didn't know how to put into words, and its so nice seeing you thinking the same things. Thank you so, so much, Sammy!
Yayyy! Excited to watch this ep!🫶🏻🫶🏻 (i 100% understand if you discontinue, but I know I’d love to watch you specifically react to it❤️ I’ll watch and support you either way)
I really think YT hides all the best period drama reactions. Hard to find Anne with an E , also "Outlander" is difficult to find. There are quite a few great ones that have almost no reactions at all, and I don't get why. I guess google has an issue with historical women's fiction?? (Speaking of, Outlander is an amazing show and I want everyone to see it lol). And yes, I hope you are still doing Anne reactions, because they are really good and it feels like I'm watching them for the first time again. Cheers.
I search Ann with an e reactions almost every week and I didn’t see your reactions popping up until now I’m not sure why , I suggest you start reacting to twd if you didn’t watch it yet it has a larger viewership
I just found out about these reactions now, as it popped up in my recommendations so don't worry the algorithm is working you just have to be patient 😅
Have you watched The Handmaid's Tale? Highly triggering, super emotional. Politically relevant. 5 seasons with a 6th and final season coming this summer.
Amybeths accent work in this show is also absolutely flawless...i had no clue she wasn't Canadian. She nailed our accent!
I really do hope you will continue this show. You will love it, im sure. Watching others react to my favorite show is almost like watching it again for the first time 😊

This vudeo popped yp in my suggestion so the algorithm is doing something 😊
"female friendship is just the best thing in the whole world“ made me tear up damnnn
I have watched every Anne with an E reaction on youtube. I regularly search for new ones. Of course, I will continue to watch yours. 😊
I do not get why most creators say “I do not know if I will continue this” Anne delivers at some point, have faith, as Anne hahah

For the Algorithm!! 🤖👌
What happened behind the scenes? I'm confused
What behind the scenes drama are you referring to
