You're probably right. I totally get people's anger with BM and I am among them. However I made the video for BHQ who has been with me awhile in the knife show. This project has been in the works for a long time. I am loyal to my vendors who support me. I don't fault anyone who won't buy BM anymore however.

I like probably most people here don't make a lot of money. That being said I save and willing to drop some coin things I like. So when it comes to spending 100 200 300 on a blade it sure as hell want be a anti gun company! Too many other brands out there to do that. Still waiting on nutinfancys view currently with the NRA. Lol yeah I think I had a knife or several from almost every other major knife maker, I was actually going to buy the Bugout as my next knife purchase then this story broke two weeks later. So glad I got lucky and didn't waste my money, picked up several different versions of the Spyderco Paramilitary 2 instead.
@FireEscape technically the guns weren't court ordered to be cut up, it was up to the county sheriff to determine if the guns are sold or destroyed. Obviously the sheriff chose for them to be destroyed, though that is the lesser of the two offensive like you say Benchmade committed, donating to anti-gun politicians and only anti-gun politicians is the real crime here. It's obviously Les is anti-gun, they were hoping this would blow over and still make money off of gun owners.

I just picked up a Ka-Bar Jaroz 7506 tanto point with aus 8 HRc 56- 58 blade. For 1/5th the price. It's a beast. And I'd rather support Ka-Bar. Sure this one was "Made In The Philippines" but so is a lot of stuff. High quality. Not anti gun.

Nutn suprised you havent checked out the Kershaw Dividend. Its basically an upgraded Skyline. The S35 variants from HoB are absolutely awesome. Also suprised Nutn is supporting Benchmade these days with their political choices.

Yup. It’s better to start them off with a cheap ots blade and see how they take care of it before moving up. We gave gramps a little dozier design folder and last I saw he had sharpened it with a grinder to half the width it was stock. It was like he wanted to make a prison shiv. -Doodle

Here's the difference we don't expect a knife company who's primary customers are pro-gun as well to be donating money to ONLY anti-gun politicians. This is where we have real power to not buy their products anymore, we can buy knifes from other companies that pro-gun and not frauds just making money off of gun owners.
This is my first time commenting on a video on TH-cam. I would like to think Benchmade is capable changing its ways from the backlash it received over the gun cutting and the political donations. I do know that this year we were able to get them to help sponsor the Oregon City High Schools youth clay target team with a 4000.00$ donation along with hats and team patches. The Teams home club is Douglas Ridge Rifle Club and team is part of the Oregon State High School Clay Target League/ USA High School Clay Target League. I do own 2 Benchmade autos that I like and won't be getting rid of any time soon. I think Benchmade is smart enough to realize not all knife people are gun people but all gun people usually are knife owners at least from what I see at the range and three gun matchs and USPSA matchs.

A recommendation for a gun to review is the Brownells' copy of the M16a1 or any one of their retro rifles they have been building or just any of the Nam AR15 rifles. We've come a long way in AR15 rifle design that the original rifles seem very foreign to what we have now. I think it'd be cool to see your take on the original rifle that started it all. Love the knife show. I was never a huge Benchmade fan just because the knives really didn’t connect with me. I know they are popular but it’s not for me.
I like BHQ as well, however, they are no doubt standing by Benchmade as they probably own a lot $$$ worth of Benchmade inventory. Nut'n, I'm disappointed in your willingness to overlook Benchmade's insult on our 2nd amendment rights, for the sake of supporting BHQ. What Benchmade did is every bit as bad as REI's stance and you have (rightly in my opinion) boycotted REI. My first, quality folding knife was a Benchmade Griptillian Mel Pardue, and I also have an original Bugout. Unless and until Benchmade does an about face, apologizes for their offensive actions and corrects them by overtly and significantly supporting the 2A, I will not every buy another Benchmade. They are good knives but in my opinion, have always been overpriced compared to what Spyderco, Kershaw, Cold Steel, CRKT, SOG and others offer.

Ntn, as a long time fan and subscriber of the Nutnfancy Project, I urge you to seriously examine what Benchmade has done and then have a look at the owner’s video where he tries to justify their actions. In some of your other vids you have spoken out against REI, Dicks Sporting Goods and other companies. Why are you exempting Benchmade? You have always been THE rock of consistency in our community and seeing this video is extremely disappointing. TD indicated people have forgotten about it. No we haven’t. Simply put, Benchmade is helping the enemy - and that makes them the enemy. Period.
I own several benchmade knives including a custom that I love. I'm also glad nutinfancy did a review on this sale... However I personally will not buy any more knives from them. That could change in the future but I would rather do business with companies that share similar values to mine.
Love the CCCP watch on the table top. I’ve had the exact model for well over a year and it’s such a fantastic watch! Also love the look of the bugout but the plastic feeling handles kill it for me personally. Make it with aluminum scales and I’d buy it in a heartbeat!

Tried one out. It felt cheap and flimsy compared to my Cold Steel broken skull. Ended up carrying that and a code 4 more often.

I would never buy anything from that company, for one they aren't better than cheaper knifes, second they are anti second amendment.
When are you going to review the FF/DROP Dao? Such a great blade, CPM-S35VN blade, titanium frame Lock with steel insert. Such a great blade shape.

This goes against all your call to action videos you've always been a pro 2A supporter, you don't support REI you don't support Dicks as you should. Benchmade is in the same category these are companies that should've been on our side and are not, they're just making money off of gun owners. We get attacked everyday from anti-gun companies we don't expect a company that's primary customers are pro-gun to betray us which they have. Please do not do anymore reviews on Benchmade products!

Ntn, as a long time fan and subscriber of the Nutnfancy Project, I urge you to seriously examine what Benchmade has done and then have a look at the owner’s video where he tries to justify their actions. In some of your other vids you have spoken out against REI, Dicks Sporting Goods and other companies. Why are you exempting Benchmade? You have always been THE rock of consistency in our community and seeing this video is extremely disappointing. TD indicated people have forgotten about it. No we haven’t. Simply put, Benchmade is helping the enemy - and that makes them the enemy. Period.

I own several benchmade knives including a custom that I love. I'm also glad nutinfancy did a review on this sale... However I personally will not buy any more knives from them. That could change in the future but I would rather do business with companies that share similar values to mine.

Love the CCCP watch on the table top. I’ve had the exact model for well over a year and it’s such a fantastic watch! Also love the look of the bugout but the plastic feeling handles kill it for me personally. Make it with aluminum scales and I’d buy it in a heartbeat!

LOVE my Ranger Green Bugout, but I wish I had waited for the Blackout. Got mine from a guy on Ebay, for a great deal, so the price wouldn't be the same, but I'll probably get a black one eventually.

Meh, I prefer the Tanto Bailout better myself. Can't wait to see if Benchmade offers it with carbon fiber scales. Overall, the 940-1 and 484-1 are my fav EDC's so far.
Email Benchmade and they will send you deep carry clips. I listed my 3 knives in the email and they promptly sent 3 clips.
