You sir are doing the lords work. Thank you for sasing Toyotas I wish I could get my 4Runner done or had the skills to do it but I’m just poor and dumb
@@lennyross2813 I’ve not had much to do with the 80’s but I like them! Supposedly 105’s have a bigger more comfier interior/body. But yeah V8’s 👌🏽 there’s a few converted 105’s here with the turbo diesel vdj motors too! One for sale now actually
Yes, the 105 series is super cool, but they still have the inline 6 engines. So in my opinion, the ultimate land cruiser would be what you guys are doing here: converting a 100 series with the 2UZ to solid front axle. This is rad!!
Adam's( I'm assuming his name by the gloves lol) ability to arc gouge the complete IFS bracket off in one piece is... inspiring. Keep up the great work, I'm really enjoying your channel! Thanks so much for sharing!
Seeing a 2007 with no rust is amazing, can't find that up here in the northeast. Giving this beast a 2nd life as a true offroader with sas & 37s... bless u all! Can't wait for the follow-up
If in the future the customer wants to get rid of the adapters can get later 70 series 5 lug wheel hubs, there is also a strength increase going from 8mm to 10mm studs for the locking/drive flange studs.
Been looking for ways to sas my hundo for three years now this is the first video that actually shows how to do it and it had to appear shortly after I blew mine up 😂 will be doin this when I got the money
if you put together a kit for Right Hand Drive you would get massive interest from australian and new zealand markets... the chassis differences make it frustrating but an off the shelf kit would be good especially for coil overs!
@benwilkinson7181 although gu steering box is beefy, people are starting to use 105 boxes now, the 105 isn't as big but it has a bigger sector shaft wich makes it stronger and better.
All that and you didn't flip the radius arms, shouldn't it have been made with stock radius arm bushes so there was room for adjustment if lifted later? Good to see the dirty 30 on its tourst visa
I have a 100 series. It's a great truck. I also had a Tacoma. I took my Tacoma to the next level by trading it in for a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. SAS sounds great, but at some point, I realized that a Jeep would be better for what I do. I will always be a Toyota guy, but I am also a Jeep guy too now. Toyota Land Cruiser for those long rode trips with only a little off-roading... Gladiator for my Moab trips. What's not to love.
great build, quick question, when doing the swap using an 80 series front axle, do you also need to swap out the rear axle do to gear ratios? also how much can once expect to spend if they wanted to do a solid front end swap on a 100?
You sir are doing the lords work. Thank you for sasing Toyotas I wish I could get my 4Runner done or had the skills to do it but I’m just poor and dumb
It’s ok buddy. You’re doing great.
You got it! junkyard parts and learn to weld, buy a $50 old school craigslist welder!
105 series owner here from Aus, cool to see this being done!
More to come!
Did 105 come with inline 6 cylinder or v8?
@@lennyross2813 they came with 2 options. Petrol 1FZ Inline 6 or 1HZ Inline 6 here. Most people swap 1hdfte’s into the 105’s tho
@@Shaanjc96 as much as i like my inline 6 in my 80series a V 8 option with a solid front axle would be ideal in my opinion.

105 owner here from Australia 🇦🇺 👏Be cool to see this out the tracks... Most people here use them for touring.
Sweet “simple” build, very enjoyable to watch any fab work from you guys
So cool to see the dirty 30 just chilling there

Or engine swapped 105, fte swap. It also has the 1fz aswell
@@kadenmackriell4751 I agree, that works too! haha

That Adam sure is a crafty son of a gun.🤘

Dude those welds look freakin awesome, and I'm always pumped to see more Toyotas with solid axles in the front.
Right on!

I would definitely buy a sas kit for this!! How 100’s should be from factory! FJ80’s are the best riding SUV’s ever!!
I’ll be lined up for the SAS kit on my 100! LFG!!!
I'll be right behind you!
Amazing, amazing video. By far the best video of a 100 series sas job. Excellent stuff
Been looking for ways to sas my hundo for three years now this is the first video that actually shows how to do it and it had to appear shortly after I blew mine up 😂 will be doin this when I got the money
Awesome video and the tunes were perf 👌🤘🇨🇦

Why would you do that and not buy a 105? It’s extremely expensive
105 chassis are like an 80 series . They are norrow . 100 series are wider . 100 series in Australia came with the v8 and the sort after diesel.
@@huggy7520dang I didn’t know that about the chassis, looks more different than I thought. Makes sense now I think about it.
You guys are great.
When is that kit going to be available?! 😮💨
Great job you guys! Cant wait to SAS mine 👌🏻
Fantastic work gentlemen! You make it look so easy. I’d love to SAS my ‘01 one of these days!
So good from Australia 🇦🇺 👏 🙌 👌 😊
Thank you! 😃
It would be cool to see an SAS conversion on a first gen Tundra/Sequoia.
Can we get the update video you mentioned????
37's
We get treated like criminals for running anything bigger than a 33 inch tyre here in Australia
105 diffs are wider so you wouldn't have to run wheel spacers. We use 105 diffs when coil converting 79s here in AUS.
Needs a GU Steering box
@benwilkinson7181 although gu steering box is beefy, people are starting to use 105 boxes now, the 105 isn't as big but it has a bigger sector shaft wich makes it stronger and better.
@@kadenmackriell4751 I’m from Aus, the 105 box isn’t as good as GU steering box. Sharon’s 60 series has a GU box
@@benwilkinson7181 yeah 105 box are good but they are prone to leaking a lot more than a GU
@benwilkinson7181 I'm from Australia aswell. And lots of people are starting to go away from gu boxes for 105 boxes.
I need this for my LC100

nicely done... cool build
Hell yeah!! How much $ was that build?
I’d be interested in a quote for a similar setup for my 1998 100 series!

What are the rear tail lights called 😉🥰 ?
Engineer it in Australia such a massive market for it here
Need a update ! I’m about to do sas my 100 series in nz be good to know ruffly what spring rates your running and shock legnth cheers !
Nice job 👍
Thanks 👍
Amazing talent!
Thank you!
how's this kit comin?
Hey, I was wondering when part 2 of this build is being released?
Truck was picked up and headed back to Florida. Unfortunately no part 2
That is unfortunate! I was looking forward to see what Adam/team did to balance out the rear with 37’s!
I hear kit, and my ears perked up!
Are you guys using the 4wdunderground kit if so how was the install pros and cons tks.
We made our own components
Specs on the adapters and spacers? Can we source thru you?
How about the hubs did you reuse the 100's hub to keep the width are you guys selling a kit tks
Maybe someone asked but what's the cost to have it done? I've looked into this a bunch
hallo sir, what is this left side for a Toyota?
What's the labor time on swap. It's impossible to get a 105 with LHD in 🇺🇸
98-99 can be imported
"Questionable ride quality and not exciting to work on" LOL🤣
True story
I own both a 100 and 105, both FTE's.
Definitely a better ride on the road in the 100.
Did I hear "making a kit" 👀👀👀
What hi steer knuckles are those? Hellfire?
Hellfire
Can you not get a 105 axle sent to you ?
All that work and I’d out wheel him in my twin locked 2000. lol especially if they care about their paint
This is how Jesus intended the LC100 to be. Praise the lord!
I’m really interested in your work but the wobbly camera work and fast edit are very annoying.
Yup, it skipped a lot of important work that every guy that will swap have to see
