  • 2011 2012 2013 2014 dodge charger common air conditioning problem. AC blowing hot air, with the ac all the way up and on the coolest setting, check to see if the ac clutch is spinning. If it is spinning, it works and refrigerate may be the solution. If the ac clutch is not moving first Check fuses, clean terminal and replace with a new fuse before buying a new ac condenser.

    Coming back by to say that in 2020 this video saved me from dealerships and auto shops trying to make me pay $1700-2400 for all kinds of things to make my air work! Turns out my fuse was melted.. A $5 part did the job! Thank you!

    Thank you so much man. I’m only 17 so it’s hard to afford to be able to replace ac components especially with all the shady mechanics around. It’s constantly 80-90 degrees and I never guessed it could’ve been a fuse. Thanks so much

And I came across this video and check my fuse it was burn out bad . Thank you God bless 😘

    Omg. Thank you so much for this video. I'm going to check that. But let me ask you this. Was the problem that the AC in your car wasn't blowing at all, it was the problem that it was blowing hot AIR? I'm like the guy at the top of your comments, it now, most likely, right under mine. I'm in 95+ degrees in FLORIDA, doing Uber at night, and still suffering from the heat because of the humidity here. There's no way it's tolerable during the day, but it's also hot all night. I'm really hoping your to here may be the answer. Thank you.

    dongerm454, thank you for your video. You gave me the correct thing to look at. On my charger, on the AC Clutch fuse, I pulled it out and there was nothing wrong with the fuse. I than took my knife and I scaped all the sides of the contacts and remove some metal/tarnish from the fuse. I than put the fuse back in the AC Clutch again and wham!!! Air conditioner was running nice and cold again. So the tarnish on the fuse must had made the connection to not work properly. After that was scaped off the contact was working as designed. Thank you Sir for this posting. It solved my issue. Thank You!!!

    • @dongerm454

      Tez Jackson it was blowing hot air. The ac compressor was cutting off. I thought it was a bad compressor then I figured out that the mini fuse didn’t have a tight fit inside the fuse box. A bigger fuse did the trick

    • @pmand1998
      @pmand1998 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea you are right , looks like the fuse autozone/Oreilly sells little bit smaller than the original. So u might want to look for another 10amps fuse from the same fuse box and change it out and see if that would stop it from moving or rather still go to d dealer and buy fuse from dodge
