This video did not disappoint that is for sure! I have an autistic cat, vet really thinks it fits for him, he loved the bridge and over water/land interface. We watched twice. He likes touching the large moving image. He is good at pausing the video then wondering why it stopped, it was fun for us both.
Been watching your vids for a while, and absolutely love the legacy…what a great aircraft. In this video, as you’re departing Friday Harbor, I can just catch a glimpse of my mothers house (right above the green water tank). When I visit, I normally catch a small charter flight from Boeing Field over to FH. Last time was a c172. So beautiful up there. Next time up, I’ll pay your fuel and lunch for a “lift” to the island 😀. Love the info on the aircraft, and the scenery…keep ‘‘em coming.
Nice scenery! We'll be in that area in about a week for a visit. Tell Scott hi at the wedding next weekend. I remember you and him "flying" through the trees on your tree swings and dodging cars while you were shooting hoops on the end of your parent's carport across the street from us, a few years ago! Hi, your hanger has got to be very near my old hanger at Arlington. Had a Beech Travelair there. Flew everywhere you have shown so far, so is great for the memories. Thanks, PS sold my Legacy N122y about 3yrs. ago. Really starting to miss it.
I REALLY like your idea of making carbon fiber wheel chocks. Make them stackable for space saving. It would make a good video for sure. May be a good lil side business as well. Did a quick Google search and couldn't find anything like that. Make em with carbon fiber lanyard and print or emboss your plane # on them! Wow ; that is some beautiful countryside ! Very interesting watching all that goes on in regards to flying that plane. Tail cam is great. Having never flown the tail cam sure gives me an idea of it from a small plane point of view. Great theme song ( I love it ) , Can you tell me what it is? Thanks.
Best fish Tacos by far I have had, and I lived in Mexico for two years, was in Hunting beach Cali. It is a small hole in the wall place on the side of a building there.
Back in the day, you could get away with doing cool stunts like flying under bridges because ADS-B didn't exist and there weren't cameras in everyone's pockets! :) I've done a TON of flying up north... my brother and I used to fly to Friday Harbor and go to an old Pub just above the ferry dock. I sure miss the days of a $200 burger. Now it's a $500. LOL

Get a piece of 3/4" PVC and (4) 90 degree elbows or T's. and make a pair of fitted chocks. Much lighter weight than solid chocks and take up very little room in the storage.
I noticed your landing gear retraction sequence changed from when you left home to F/Harbour. Is your landing gear individually controlled or is it one button for up/down?
So when are you going to paint the Lancair blue and put the Jolly Roger's logo on it? I know you think about it every time you walk into the hanger. LOL
I do think about it! The paint on this plane is perfect though so I’m struggling with messing with it lol. Maybe change the red pinstripe to blue 🤷🏻♂️
Should be a walk in the park (under the bridge) for any former fighter jock or agri pilot but regulations would ground you. Government takes the fun out of everything!!

It’s one switch. I’m not sure how that system is wired and noticed that it’s slightly different too. I should call John & ask about that.
