Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living outside the Philippines due to job assignment. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my TH-cam Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
I have come to a point of trying to find a greater purpose in life, something beyond just being happy for a moment. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.
Itulah hebatnya orang2 Batak terlalu banyak talenta yg Tuhan berikan buat suku yg satu ini. Nga orang Jerman, Korea, Amerika bahkan dari filipina sekalipun sangat membuka hati terhadap orang Batak. Thanx brothr Nephi God bless you

Everytime i go back to my home town in Batak land and go to church i always bein amazed everytime we praise God. Just natural. Some people will split up their voices and it's so good to hear and do not want to stop. so bless hearing batak people just the way they sing.
Dang mungkin bei in English means, it's impossible to reunite. This song reflects about his wife left their marriage with one daughter because of wealth, marry other man, the rich one. Later, with her live journey this woman got a problem with her marriage but when she heard her previous husband that she left furtherly has a better life, she wanted to reunite. That's why this man says, dang mungkin bei it ia impossible to reunite again.

Bataknese has 6 clans, i.e Batak Toba, Batak Karo, Batak Simalungun, Batak Pakpak, Batak Mandailing and Batak Angkola.

In northern Sumatra, everyone seems to be born to be a singer. Almost all of them can sing without getting learning vocal techniques or singing education. Autodidact singing can be good, especially if get vocal training. They are quite a bit directed to be able to become good singers.
Lapo and hauma are the better place for them to practice their vocal techniques. Horas Philippines.

U have to know if not just north sumatra has a people that good in singing... u may have a look to east indonesia like ambon, flores, papua... they have a lot of good singer too... cause singing is such a their second live (north sumatra and east indonesia) but not to underrated another place in indonesia cause they have their own singer... 😉
