The time when you could go into the desert and make deals with Anubis whenever you want ;)
"Dark" god anubis?
Uhh..Anubis was one of the most respected and well-liked Gods of Egypt.
I heard "dog"
Yes. It's just western filthy abrahamic mindset where all pagan is evil but jesus is all good
Jesus saves
@@INDPRECIOUSMETALS lol if you think Hollywood is Christian, and don’t despise it. They are something else
I think they are really referring to Apophis. Who was the god of chaos, disorder and darkness
They should have made the Scorpion king use The Rocks catchphrases. Like when he ordered the army to attack, he could say "Finally, the King has come back to Hamunaptra!!"
What a film. This trilogy was amazing.
I love when movies line up their armies and then immediately break ranks in a mad rush
Not to correct this movie, but I feel like they could have used Set in Anubis stead.
They look the same, head of Jackal body of man, but Anubis isn't really evil, he is just the guide and guardian from the dead, while Set is the one that rules over war, sandstorms and destruction, I mean he wasn't always evil in egyptian mythos, but that's how he ended up, as far as I know.
And yeah, I know that it's just a movie and one shouldn't look too deep into it, which god they use doesn't change the experience in the end
It bothered me too lol
Same for using Imhotep as the baddie in these films, the real man did so much good for his country that he was he was considered a deity.
And the Medjai had a very different kind of job for the Pharoah in history.
They are still very enjoyable films.
Anubis sounds way cooler....
@@rushrush6754 that's a valid point, it's just that to me who thinks of Anubis as a neutral guide and guardian to the dead it feels off, but to most people "set" would sound weird and boring compared to Anubis, hadn't thought of that
So out of curiosity, is the "seige" part real? Like the 🦂 king himself trying to "conquer the known world"
Scorpion II was actually conquered by The first pharaoh of Egypt Narmer in 3200 BC, with Scorpions death Egypt was unified into one land.
@@skararu9675 how Interesting, was it anything like how the 🦂 kings "army" sacked Egypt?
THATS ME BRUH❗️❗️
i love the scene where 1:24 the rock didn't kill anybody but he litterally fights the army with his wrestling skills🤣🤣
Love this scene felt truly epic to watch
21 years back...and this movie is still fresh. First time animation used for dyanne johnson in climax fight.
Wait till you see the cgi monster at the end, worst ever.
Still love the movie though
@@CyberBeep_kenshi 21 years back that cgi used dude?? What you expect...
@@iamawesomeVlogs007 nah, look at other movies at the time. This was BAD, really bad
@@CyberBeep_kenshi yea for dyanne johnson it was worse but apart from it , was ok
Mad props to the middle school computer tech class that provided the special effects!
My childhood memories💕😍
In my great opinion,🦂🦂🦂 I say Dwayne Johnson did such an awesome job playing The Scorpion King! 😃👍🦂🦂🦂🦂🦂🦂🦂🦂
Obviously Johnson is remembered the most for the horrific CGI in the final battle of this one but it’s still cool that this sequel launched a film career that would become much bigger for him than expected.
Exllent movie advanced technology wounderful graphics awsome 🙏
When The Rock turned from wrestling into acting
Wrestling is acting....
@@rushrush6754acting like its hard. 😂 💪
Scorpion King: raises an army big enough to lay siege on the known world.
Also the Scorpion King: forgets how to make it home
Brendan Fraser should've made a similar deal in the Mummy 3. That way we'd have Anubis' Army fight the Terra Cotta Army.
He could have Anubis help, Anubis and Brendan respect order.
Anubis would be the first god to complain about humans being resurrected at will.
Also, the so called "the book of dead" is actually called "the book of the rising of the sun" , it talks about what happens at dusk, night and dawn. During this time Ra must face many obstacles, he is helped by some gods and, then, Ra suffers a transformation that allows him to rise again.
The help of these gods wouldn't be ilogical.
Fun fact : Scorpion II was a real ruler in ~3200BC who ruled before the first ever pharaoh, Narmer.
The rock told Anubis it doesn’t matter what his price is, then proceeded to layeth the smackdown on all Egypt.
Is it considered criminal to say I like this film?
Don’t understand how he’s bad in this movie but good and becomes the Scorpion king a completely different way in the other movie
When The Scorpion King came out; I wanted The Rock to play Black Adam; or Shazam. I waited years.
this move was very well made for 2000s
Yes, I miss the early 2000s. Good times back then.
That was the greatest war fighting scene I've ever seened in cinema history it blew me away that was well over 100.000 men the scorpion king lead in that battle
"Imagine a King battling his own battles would that be a sight to see"-Achiles
I watched this movie more than 100 times. Easily.
Visually, it looked amazing! Idk about historical accuracy, but when I watched this as a kid, it was GREAT!
What another wanderful story Osiris (destiny 2)
March in perfect formation, battle starts and everyone just yolos into each other.
0:41 everytime I watch these scene I think he's about say haku NA MATATAAA xD
0:40 “Well apparently from what I saw behind that curtain, haku mashente means The scorpion king has a tiny ding-a-ling”- the hurricane in a segment with the rock around 2003 during a Raw show 😂😂😂😂
I can see where 300 and the battle choreography with Leonidas got their inspiration firm.
The Rock is like Jotaro from JoJo, while Anubis is like his stand counterpart.
You see Rock trying his hardest not to use his electrifying persona. XD
Dwayne Johnson Entrance to The Mummy Returns / The Scorpion King 0:34
The Scorpion King did get his Akkadian Tiny, Ding-a-Ling.
0:38 Can you smeeeeelll the Scorpion King's arrival
