Haha! Love it. Thanks again Nisha, you've been an inspo to my own hair youtube channel, especially your wig content and your fine hair tutorials (I was completely bald 3 years ago, documented on my channel for anyone curious!). Love from Toronto xoxo
Nisha, you are FABULOUS! I just discovered you, and I am so glad I did. Never listen to negative people. There are far too many of us who are so thankful for you! You are a wealth of information. Love the tips for big volume for thin hair! THANK YOU!
WOW, this is awesome, I have fine, thin, long hair and I just used to tease the back and spray with hair spray, it never lasted. I am going to get the straightner and heat styling spray and try this. Amazing. Thank you for making this video.
Loved this tutorial! I tried it, I have very fine hair as well. For finishing, I add more volume using Living Proof Full dry volume blast and Kenra 25 hairspray.I can sleep on my hair (which is just past my shoulders) and in the morning, the volume is still there!!
Oh my goodness, Nisha! This was such a great tutorial! Your hair looks healthy and full of volume! I can't wait to try this on my fine flat hair. Thank you so much! 💖💖 Julie
Lol I am 3 yrs behind ya sister and very grudgingly let go of my 80s and 90s hair. Hubs has always seen me with long to my hips hair. I cut it into a lob and whoa! I didn't know how much natural curl I had. I used to pay 65 to 90 bucks for perms like this back then. Dunno what I did but I'm not mad abt it. After weight loss surgery I lost a freaking metric ton of hair is the only difference. I was preparing by watching all these videos on how to get more volume and didn't even need too. I gotta say though I'm loving my new hair and all these hair tools I have now makes it loads of fun too
Hello Nisha!! I have very fine hair. I wear mine short. The problem I have is at the crown. You really help me with so many things, my make up, my hair and skin. I've always taken care of my skin and such but as a 43 yr old we can always do what we can. Anyway I adore you and Thank you so much. God bless you always!! xoxo😘💕🌹
I do the same technique, but instead of the straightenter I use the blow dryer. Actually, a stylist with fine hair showed me the technique but using a blow dryer very lightly. It doesn't stay for three days, but it's really quick and I'm pretty sure if I used the straightener like that my hair would break off because simply curling it a couple times a week was too much for my fine hair... sadly.
I have a bob and I like the crown to be nice and full. I'm going to try this for sure. Thank you for this video and BTW. your hair had grown out nicely.
I backcomb where I want the volume, spray then stick in large velcro rollers then just finger comb it. Same effect -- I also love some volume as I have thin, fine & straight hair as well! Good Video!!
I love your hairdo and volume. So pretty. I have been subscribed to Harmonize for awhile. She does beautiful styles and she is gorgeous. I tried this method before and it works. I just don’t do it each hair washing as it’s a lot of work. I look like a bird made a nest out of my hair when I wake up so I have to comb my hair. Thank you Nisha. ❤️
Very good video and so helpful. I have to wash my hair everyday as I work on rent houses and do lots of yard work. I fear it would make me go bald in time if I did it often. Can't wait to try and see how it works on my hair next time I have a special event or go on vacation.
I totally agree with the “big hair”. I feel I need this too. My hair is fine AND thin, double whammy! By the look of your hair, it may be thin but you have a lot of it. BTW, is there a product you have found to add texture to hair? I haven’t found anything yet. TIA
Morning Nisha! I love big hair! I’ve seen her hair videos and also love her hair. It’s looks like a longer version of your haircut. That was a very helpful video! Will do this after my makeup this morning ! Have a great day! 💐🙋
Omg i absolutely luv the fact this holds for 3 days !!!! Will def give it a try. Btw yr hair is looking much healthier and a middle part of yr fringe also looks great on you. Thanks for this tutorial. Much appreciated for us fine, thin hair ladies lol
Wow! I just found this video and your hair looks great! I'm a brunette but my hair is the same style, length and texture as yours. I have been trying forever to get more volume because it's always so flat! I'm going to try this tomorrow!!
Your so right Nisha.. Harmony gives great hairstyling tips! Turned out great 👌🏼 After the first bit of teasing, you made me think of the actress Emma Chambers as Honey in Notting Hill 😆 I loved the Movie 🎥 xo
Nisha I always wondered how you got so much beautiful volume in your hair. Now I know! Thanks so much for this video. Now I’m going to give it a try. - Kim
Thank you for this tutorial Nisha!!! You look fantastic!!! I will give it a try today to see if I can achive at least 50% from what you did!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you 😘
Great video as I have very fine hair. Do you lose more hair with the back combing? Just remembered you said just wash your hair without combing through and I've done that forever. Love this style on you thanks for sharing with us. Hugs to you Nisha
What I do the next day, is split the hair into sections & work some texturizing hairspray into it, just using my fingers. The dirtier the hair, the easier it is to style. Don't brush or comb, just use your fingers. Use the flat iron to straighten it again, but the big, time consuming style is only really done the day I shampoo. That's just what works for me. 💕
Elle Is For Living hi Elle! You mean you leave a roller under there to keep it up! Your girls are so tricky! I just give up on the volume b/c I can never get it!
I love your video! I also have fine hair. I get a lot of breakage. Do you get breakage? and if so have you found anything that helps stop breakage? Thanks so much!!
The very first video of yours I watched was one when you used a crimper on your roots to get volume. I think this works really well too. Thank you for all your tips and tricks Nisha. I love watching your videos. X
I had so much fun watching your video, it brought memories of me back combing my straight hair in high school. Back combing and there was also a little dom basket that you fasten with bobby pins to the crown of your head and gently brushed your back combed sections over this dom to create height and volume at the top of your head. The hair spray of choice was always Aqua Spray, very strong, I also used it later when I taught Kinder to preserve chalk drawings that my students did on construction paper. What wonderful memories your :video brought to mind, thanks for the memory trip. :-)
Your hair is great….I luv this technique…I really want to try it…..but please tell me how I comb hair that has been back combed the next day….does the back comb stay for weeks….?? Can I get it out easily …?
I found another wig ad with you on it but I don't have anyway to send it to you. I have no email address. But it just came up this morning on Facebook.
This is great Nisha, thanks! I have hair like yours too, and I'm literally always looking for products or ways to get volume. I will try your method for sure. I have to share something with you, that I was totally surprised worked, because I have a cupboard full of hair products that don't do hardly anything, and more root lifters than you can imagine, that also do nothing, but this week I got a sample of this stuff, and I was amazed by the volume I got from just blow drying, so I will combine your method with this product too. If you can get it in the UK, I'm not sure, but in America it is Drybar Southern Belle Root Lifter in a yellow and white can. I was very surprised how well it worked. Thanks for your video! I'm originally from England, so I enjoy your vlogs a lot.
Looks good and thanks for sharing. Way too much work there tho. Life's too short. I'll just have to love myself as I am. Would you consider cutting your hair and layering. It gives volumn
Just one question if anyone can answer... hair routine, so do you “un tease” it every night? How you do it?, how many times a week you wash your hair?. Nobody talks about how you take care of whatever you combed?.
Yes it's me again remembering what I wanted to ask you. You said it won't work without the Aveda air control hairspray, why can't we use our own brand? :)
In Texas, we have a saying. "The higher the hair, the closer to God". Great ideas to share with us! 🤗💄🛍👜👠💕
fellow Texan can confirm this to be FACT LOL
We say that also here in Tennessee ❤️💋💖
Love this

Thank you, I was afraid to back comb my fine thin hair, but in your styling you don't over do it. Looks beautiful : )

Thank you! I have such fine flat hair now and this is the first tutorial I've seen that I think I can actually do.
Oh my goodness, Nisha! This was such a great tutorial! Your hair looks healthy and full of volume! I can't wait to try this on my fine flat hair. Thank you so much! 💖💖 Julie
You have a lot of patience with your hair and makeup and it really pays off cause you look beautiful!!
Nisha I love your hair! Thank you for these tips! I graduated in 1982 from high school, I’m 54 and I love big hair especially in the crown!

Magnificent !!!! Loved the presentation. You are lovely.
You have beautiful hair.
As a teen in the 60s we called it “teasing”, I had never heard the term backcombing until now!
(Tease or teasing)
Back in in 60's till now , I still call it ratting your hair . Miss the 60's
Tawana Deckard
Ratting! How could I forget! 😊
@@aqhasassy ,Lol , I still rat my hair . At salon this past week , just ratting away. I also was a teen in the 60's . 😄

miettelund84 this is my fear! I’ll try the dryer! Thanks!
I also use Not Your Mothers Plump For Joy in the root area, same technique... It's pretty good and smells great.
miettelund84 thanks for the helpful tip
I have a bob and I like the crown to be nice and full. I'm going to try this for sure. Thank you for this video and BTW. your hair had grown out nicely.
Absolutely fabulous!! Gorgeous 💜💜💜💜💜💜 I'm gonna try this with my short hair. Can't wait.😍

Where I live it is VERY windy and cold. Not sure how the top of my head would stay styled. But your hair looks FABULOUS, beautiful lady.
I end up with lots of gaps when the wind hits
Love this !!! 👌💞... will definitely use this technique on my fine flat hair. Thank you so much🙏💓

Hi. The girl that you are talking about has a channel called Harmonize Beauty. Your hair looks great like this.
Do you use the other products she mentions? The volume and texture tonic? Trying to figure out where I can cut some $$$
Love your tutorial, what's the hair spray called
I think it also helps to have the haircut you have. so if you don't mind telling me what haircut do you have?
What a clever idea, definitely going to try this!! Thx Nisha x
