  • Take a walk around The Barras with me. The Barras is an antiques market (plus vintage and traditional market) in the centre of Glasgow. It’s open every Saturday and Sunday and it’s an amazing hunting ground…you never know what you’re going to find
Hello, David Harper here. Welcome to my Antiques & History Channel. I’m looking for interesting people to interview and interesting antiques to sell for you! (Classic cars, full collections, artwork, porcelain, silver etc too)
Of course, I’d need to document the whole process of the selling to make interesting, fun, informative, engaging and entertaining films for my subscribers …that’s what it’s all about!
Here’s my contact details…do get in touch and send me some pictures of the items you’re looking to sell or the collection you’re happy to be interviewed about
    Email: dk.harper@yahoo.co.uk

    Thanks
    Hope to see you soon
    David

I remember the days at the Barras when you struggled to walk through the streets because there was literally hundreds of people and wall to wall stalls selling all sorts of stuff from towels to trainers, tracksuits to dvds cds etc - it’s a shame to see the barebones of the market that’s left

I was just thinking the same thing ...my god changed days eh ...satuarday and Sunday it was a sea of people and you couldn't move ..I remember being there in the 80s with my mam and dad at the butchers counter and you get tons of butcher meat for coppers ...such a shame

I think I'd rather have the candlesticks than the weird. Thanks for the video, though!

Orange trousers? Looks more a bright coral to me, but I'm a female and guys don't always differentiate. 11:40 I've seen old televisions turned into fish tanks and bars, but never a taxidermy diorama. I almost like it, but wouldn't want it in my house.
