@@Deleted258No he doesn’t. Armoturo got his from Greenville, Texas and sold it to ACDC. I only know one part about his hurricane, the core which his dad accidentally threw away because he didn’t know what it was.
Could the one in Milwaukee WI have its blower replaced with a Thunderbolt Blower to make it last longer that factory installed one is on its last legs and sounds like it is ready to give out every time someone records it during tests
That sounds good. I kinda think the background sound with the sirens itself sounds like a Thunderbolt's blower box that is on the ground while the Hurricanr itself sounds like a combination of a ACA Allertor and a Thunderbolt.
Can't help but notice how tiny that person in the background is compared to the cyclone. Also was the hurricane quieter with the thunderbolt blower or about the same?
Well if it's blower still existed we would have hooked it up to the siren. Pretty sure the reason this one was taken out of service was because the blower quit. Makes sense, the hurricane blowers spin at 3450 rpm. They are time bombs
they probably would not considering they have no reason to. the only reason this would be refurbished is if dale mueller wanted to himself since this is a part of his private collection.
@@mack-n-cheez yeah no kidding! I’ve seen a few people that own them. But the a lot of the videos are from 2012 or 2010. Still would be cool to have one though but they are huge the horn is bigger than a thunderbolt horn lol
Too bad they were discontinued, one of those would be much better behind my house instead of the newer T-128, even though i prefer Thunderbolts. Just curious, what is the weight in pounds of a Hurricane and a Thunderbolt?
I have made history with my thunderbolt blower. This was amazing! I plan to come back next year.
You sure did lmao. This was hilarious ngl
You did!
Me too
What blower type was it

History has been made! A Hurricane on a Thunderbolt blower!!! Amazing test.
ASC return to make Hurricane over 132dB in 1991-1995 MKIII
When ACA bankrupt in 1995
And that's where a federal signal thundercane came from
The healthiest sounding hurricane in existence. This thing makes Milwaukees hurricane a geriatric
Imagine a lot of hurricanes came back to cities but used thunderbolt blowers
Actually that should've been how they would avoid replacing them lol just replace the blower
Milwaukee has got to do this.
Definitely an experience, and quite the cool backstory on it.
And again, it was a pleasure to meet you bro!

Nice to have 2 working hurricanes again, after we lost the darien one.
There are still 5 hurricanes in working condition, just hidden in many counties. It seems the US hates them
I wonder what ever happened to Matt/videogamer24385’s hurricane

It would be easier to just find a compatable off the shelf industrial blower that could be installed with a minimum of modification.
That sounds really good!!!

Surprised more places didn't do this. Seems like Thunderbolt blowers were more reliable than Hurricane ones.
That sounds good. I kinda think the background sound with the sirens itself sounds like a Thunderbolt's blower box that is on the ground while the Hurricanr itself sounds like a combination of a ACA Allertor and a Thunderbolt.
If this is the one from SirenCon 2023 then it was running on a Thunderbolt M4 blower I believe.
Definitely an experience I will never forget

Much quieter.

If I could I would own one of these beasts. But they are so rare doubt I could.

No, this one came from Milwaukee WI
@@bluegrasssirens1938 oh. I heard from one that was from Montana, and was red. What happened to that one?
@Bluegrass Sirens So I guess Milwaukee had 2 hurricanes before 1998 and I wonder what replaced this one, likely a P-50 or a T-128
There is a video called "Alerting Communicators of America" You can find the exact same hurricane roof mounted on a school
Awesome
So milwaukee actually had two aca hurricanes i heard it was replaced by a T-135
Is this the one that was originally on the school??

does it use a thunderbolt blower

The original blower for the hurricane stopped working completely, which led to the hurricane being removed.
