Interestingly, the old design for Saiko more closely resembles something like a western punk girl design from the 2000s, perhaps inspired by anime, but not anime itself. The updated design is more true to form for your classic 3d anime look, or at least a superior attempt at it. The simplification of the design for a more toon feel definitely helps here. It closely parallels the inner transformation of Saiko's character. She used to look like a gritty punk rebel, and that was reflected by her action, but now she has a softer, more appealing look to her, reflecting how she opened up to her friends while retaining what it is that makes her uniquely her. The softer curvature of the model and cleanliness of the hair makes her look more approachable, true to how over time, she has become more approachable. Absolutely fabulous job with the symbolism with Saiko's design! Keep up the good work!

It all started as a sm64 channel, and it managed to evolve into this. So many memorable characters and moments! SMG4 is really good at making funny videos and stories. Amazing work dude, you’re the best.

I think that was awesome! The way those games played, feeling all the more unique, the comedy, the silliness of it all...and of course, that final track by Saiko? If we looked in the dictionary, that song would be the definition of an absolute banger of a sound track. I swear, I'd put that on a spotify playlist cause of how awesomely epic it was, and how totally bad-ass it felt
Definitely would put this song with the DMC5 soundtrack, the Doom Eternal Soundtrack and the Metal Gear Rising Revengence Soundtrack because metal is the best music for any combat other than dubstep/techno

I want to say I can see how much effort and time was put into this but it's too well-planned and made for me to able to see what it really took to make such an amazing story in only a single 21 minute video.

Y'know I'm glad Saiko is finally getting much needed attention because for years now since maybe the bob rapper arc she's just been complacent and just sat there as a background character
This is by far the best video I have seen from this channel. It has come so far from what it used to be, to see all of the new characters, animations, style and quality, it really warms my heart that SMG4 has come such a long way. And not just that, the twist and turns, the story, and the quality is indubitably high. I am so happy I stumbled upon this channel and it’s early days, and I’m so happy that it’s doing so well now. Did Mario specifically engineer this entire challenge and purposefully place his power level during the final battle just too strong for Saiko and Kaizo to take him on alone but just weak enough to be defeated by Saiko and Kaizo together, all just to end the Ark and the feud between the two? Because it very much seems that way, and if so, it really shows that, rather than Mario being the dumbest of the entire gang, he's really the most intelligent...
The energy from the music, the fight animation, and Mario's being the final boss. I don't know for all of you, but the final boss of the games feels kind of similar like the final boss of the Genesis Arc, at least for me. Anyway, this was a good video. I like the new look Saiko have, and I want to see more of her and Kaizo.

Y'know I'm glad Saiko is finally getting much needed attention because for years now since maybe the bob rapper arc she's just been complacent and just sat there as a background character
This is by far the best video I have seen from this channel. It has come so far from what it used to be, to see all of the new characters, animations, style and quality, it really warms my heart that SMG4 has come such a long way. And not just that, the twist and turns, the story, and the quality is indubitably high. I am so happy I stumbled upon this channel and it’s early days, and I’m so happy that it’s doing so well now. I can’t wait for next year’s Meme Games. I will never stop watching videos from this channel, until the day I die. Keep up the amazing work, Luke.

Did Mario specifically engineer this entire challenge and purposefully place his power level during the final battle just too strong for Saiko and Kaizo to take him on alone but just weak enough to be defeated by Saiko and Kaizo together, all just to end the Ark and the feud between the two? Because it very much seems that way, and if so, it really shows that, rather than Mario being the dumbest of the entire gang, he's really the most intelligent...

The energy from the music, the fight animation, and Mario's being the final boss. I don't know for all of you, but the final boss of the games feels kind of similar like the final boss of the Genesis Arc, at least for me.

You can thank TheInvertedShadow for the impressive SMG4 animation recently. He's a really good gmod animator that makes his own content long before he joined SMG4. He started working with SMG4 not too long ago
