I love the friendship mario and meggy have. Their dynamic works well, and it’s refreshing to see Mario have a good friendship with something other than spaghetti. Just sucks that sometimes he kinda ruins it in certain episodes. Other than that, 10/10 friendship( aside from Mario and smg4, that’s 11/10)

@@robbys5236 Basically just patterns yeah, there's (eventually) gonna be an Arc this year. I hope to god it's on the same level as the TH-cam and Lawsuit Arcs, very solid, but nothing will ever top the Anime Arc at this rate.
@@robbys5236 observations. Probably by mid year or upcoming April. Even though they are busy with other things, they sometimes tease things in episodes about certain things or things that will play into the arc like with Waluigi becoming evil or Francis using the anime ban to obtain Axol's pen. It just takes a little digging and analyzing some common things in episodes.
I think Mario being fat is more of a running gag than anything. Him and SMG4 are the Fat Italians after all. He's probably getting plenty of exercise from all the running and jumping, and he's nowhere near as obese as Wario or Dr Eggman. Putting him on a diet is a funny idea though, and I love how much Meggy cares for Mario, even though he's sometimes too childish, stubborn, and dumb to realize it. I also love the animation and voice acting here.
Honestly I think this might be true in Mario canon, he eats unhealthy but gets enough exercise to not be like Wario, only thinking about this cuz of Luigi's Mansion 3 where Mario's room has a lot of pizza

Although Italian food can be healthy too if you take it easy with the meat and cheese, eating meatball pasta or pizza every day can't be good for you in the long run. It's funny, the focus of this episode is about how Mario needs to lose weight, and yet have we all considered the fact that this guy is probably several times more athletic and able to run further than most people? XD

It's actually a wonder how Mario *stays* pudgy. The man can run without getting tired, literally do gymnastic-level triple-jumps, (With mid-air somersaults if he has an Invincibility Star) long forward jumps and side-somersaults, balance on tightropes, wall-jump like a ninja, punch through solid bricks, and survive falls that would outright kill a man unless they're bottomless. And, let's not forget, he's participated in several competitive sports, including the Olympics.
If anything, Mario's recommended diet would actually be to EAT MORE with the intention of GAINING weight because realistically, he'd be burning through WAY too many calories to be able to live the way he does. Maybe he overcompensates and just doesn't work himself into shape. Which poses the very frightening question of just how much more capable Mario would be if he did...
