24V trucks have it so nice, when I ground the fuel pin and replaced the gov spring in my VE truck I loaded it and the trailer up and kept driving up and down the road adjusting everything till I had it set where I wanted it… now I have a bunch of new junk for it, really wish I could just adjust it off my phone instead of caveman style with a wrench, screwdriver and leatherman. Looking forward to your next videos.

How is your automatic holding up to that tuner. I’ve got a 99 as well and was wondering. What power level do you use mostly
The auto it came with lasted just over 4 years. Had it fully built for 800 hp back in December. Trans held up just fine what have out was the torque convertor
Yea I’m thing about doing the pan off upgrade on mine for now. Unless I go ahead and do a better converter. Just hate pulling out transmission. Right now my truck is bone stock besides exhaust and a fass system. Automatic was supposed to been rebuilt about 12k ago. I can tell it’s at least been out cause it’s pretty clean

Do you have connectivity issues , every time i start my my truck i wait for it to link up.. if no internet ? Does it work.
@@1967brokedude we don’t run gauges on ours so we just manually connect whenever we need to change the tune. No connectivity issues doing it manually. I can’t speak on tryna get it to connect automatically every day. I imagine it would be more finicky then.
@@superdwarf I changed the phone I think it was a blue tooth issue ?
I leave an old phone in the truck just for the quad Z.
I still use my pod gages but I did use the tran/oil temp for oil temp.
Everything seems to be doing fine now.
Can you share your tunes or who you get them from?
The proper performance tunes have come from quadzilla themselves and I have tweaked them after that.
The pop/flame tune was sent to me by a follower on instagram.
It’s easier to send screen shots of tunes over there if you wanna shoot me a message with ur set up and which tune ur specifically interested in.

Yes it is.
Smarty is infinitely better quadzilla is trash 😂
At no point ever will a smarty out do a quadzilla on a properly running truck.
Stack it with an edge then it’ll play ball but the smarty has never set any records by itself.
