The vintage vibes and small selection of super stellar features bring this album completely together. More importantly, Miley's vibe and tone the entire album was all I needed to hear early on. The car test best believe will do this album justice!

Me: Honey she flipped the switch a long time back . You are just late to the party.
She just flipped the genre switch now .
She flipped the switch with Bangerz and people WERE NOT happy about it. She was trying to break away from HM by going "hey im an adult now" and people freaked the fuck out.
So she went the other way with Younger Now but that was (imo) too subdued for her personality and energy.
And now she is KILLING IT with Plastic Hearts
Miley is fire with this album. Her voice is made for rock and has developed so so much.
I totally feel you! I'm not a Fan of Miley, just liked a couple songs but never got into the music so deep. One of my friends LOVES her and yesterday she told me the new album is out and I just thought "Okay, give it a try, if she loves it, maybe I'll like it too". And it just BLEW ME AWAY! I never expected this and I never thought I would listen to a Miley Album over and over again. She did a masterpiece with this one!

This album is SO good whether people like her or not as a person no one can deny she is one hell of an artist, and i love that she explores herself with genres. Rock fits her so well and the energy is insane, it's such a pity live shows can't be a thing nowadays.. because it would be a wild ride to experience plastic hearts like that🖤

It'd be really interesting to hear your perspective on her last album (from 2019) Head Above Water is definitely very interesting in terms of production and its a very similar vibe for the most part (though HAW is a little more ballads)!!

Hey Fab, I've been listening to Plastic Hearts just non-stop along side folklore. I love Miley as much as Taylor. But it is fine if you won't take a trip a ride Miley's entire discography.
My faves: all but the standouts are
- High (the vocaaaaals!)
- Bad Karma (ugggghhhh! It kinda seems like a "make love" song.)
- Night Crawlin' (80's y'all!)
- Prisoner (they blend together!)
- Angels Like You (definitely a tear jerker, cause she is speaking about her divorce here.)
I hope this album got nom for AOTY in 2022 Grammys they must!
