Cambodia Khmer dance is very, very beautiful! But I love Thai traditional dances too. The one shown wasn't a good one. I've seen other professional dances done by Thai dancers. Regardless, I respect both and both are very mesmerizing, graceful and so beautiful when done correctly.

Well, back then we did copy your dance but changed it all back to Khmer dance. Thai dance has more like a beat while Khmer dance is smooth. Khmer temples are decorated with carvings of apsaras, while Thai temples such as Ayutthaya don't display any Apsara carvings. Arguing if Sbai belongs to Cambodia or Thailand is just stupid. The Sbai belongs to both countries its just that to differentiate the 2 are the patterns and design or the way is made. So to sum things up, back then, we dance the Thai style of dancing but then we realized it was wrong so we changed the style to the original one that was danced in the Angkorian period or whatever that was developed way before Thai dance.

Learn to love the differences between the two styles rather than hate. Then you will realise that it is not the apsaras who are beautiful, but your eyes which endow them with beauty in your mind (beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder).

Cambodia Khmer dance is very, very beautiful! But I love Thai traditional dances too. The one shown wasn't a good one. I've seen other professional dances done by Thai dancers. Regardless, I respect both and both are very mesmerizing, graceful and so beautiful when done correctly.

We need the sources for this irrational claim. They are not the original people on this Mainland. But Thai people have DNA of Ancient Mon mostly in SEA and including with Tai-Ka-dai and India. You can search Khmer DNA analysis in Google.

The first is a royal dance. And the one below is the general performance and the Apsara dance is entirely from Thai dance because of the teachers who teach Apsara is Princess Buppha Devi from Cambodia. She never studied dance in Cambodia After the end of the Khmer Rouge incident, the princess revitalized Cambodian dance by inventing the Apsara uniform because Cambodian dancers preferred to wear Thai costumes. Nowadays, Cambodian dancers wear Thai costumes. because the princess is dead. Efforts to create identity are wasted because Cambodians do not like Apsaras. and wears a sabai like the princess and thinks it's the national dress The princess has a slight Siamese descent.
Well, back then we did copy your dance but changed it all back to Khmer dance.
Thai dance has more like a beat while Khmer dance is smooth. Khmer temples are decorated with carvings of apsaras, while Thai temples such as Ayutthaya don't display any Apsara carvings. Arguing if Sbai belongs to Cambodia or Thailand is just stupid. The Sbai belongs to both countries its just that to differentiate the 2 are the patterns and design or the way is made. So to sum things up, back then, we dance the Thai style of dancing but then we realized it was wrong so we changed the style to the original one that was danced in the Angkorian period or whatever that was developed way before Thai dance.

Even flowers that used to decorate their hairs were becoming more similar to Thai styles. Why don't you use Romdual instead? even went to study dances in Thailand and changed Apsara's clothes. Everyone knew that Apsaras didn't wear any sabais. But now you wear sabais everywhere and say it's Khmer culture.
