Khmer apasara is more steady and elegant than thai, while thai's dance is more unsteady, imbalance and fast. I so prefer my country's traditional dance. But i also like thai as well but its just a bit unsteady and fast.

Both are lovely dances with amazing costumes. Both originate in Hindu traditions. Learn to love the differences between the two styles rather than hate. Then you will realise that it is not the apsaras who are beautiful, but your eyes which endow them with beauty in your mind (beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder). Yes Thailand did copy from Khmer that’s because they learned they used to control Thai’s territory before gaining independence in the 13th century but as a Cambodian, I read history a lot and to clear it out that both countries’ tradition came from India 😂 🇰🇭❤️🇹🇭
