I agree this set and the various balance patch seem to be an attempt to gradually lower the power curve. Doing it in a baby steps approach like this is far more likely to yield positive results than the heavy hand they failed with in the past such as with Rastakhan's Rumble. Though the current set is just acting to supplement old archetypes, the new cards are fun which bodes well for the game going forward.
Seems to be the unpopular sentiment but I just don’t see anything healthy about Reno’s omnipresence. propping up so many otherwise weak decks and even shoved into clearly nonhighlander decks like Druid. I honestly think rotation will just make that situation even more apparent since it’ll be an anchor for people to hold onto despite losing some of its good stuff fodder.
I like the card, but the poof effect it's sometimes very unfair. I think it should also clear the own board or trigger deathrattles, but I'm no dev so idk 😂.
i get you, but i have much more fun surprising players, and being surprised, with Reno, than by grinding sweaty hi-focus optimized meta decks. Reno offers a chance for the match to go beyond turn eight
I don't want reno nerfed... But if it was I would make it clear your own board. Isnt the flavor that reno is challenging the other side to a duel? Why doesn't your side of the board clear out too? This change would stop reno decks from locking out the other side for (probable) lethal.
@@petahoee8281 The dominance of paladin IS a huge problem, but yeah, more buffs would be nice. The last wave of nerfs (warrior and mage) was an absolute mistake.
I think the nerf to the Azerite snake was needed, but it makes a major complaint I’ve had about warlock even more apparent. Every time warlock seems to get a unique new win condition or gameplay mechanic, it gets nerfed into obscurity as soon as possible. Makes the class feel more like Paladin with just general value rather than anything else. I’m wild you kind of have to be content with quest line. I miss interesting grindy decks like cubelock, but the closest you can get to that is reno, which mostly just relies on screwing up your opponent’s plan and just using Paladin style value all game.
Badlands is fun but as I suspected months ago, Titans was just way too strong. Can't help but feel they wanted to make sure Demon Hunter and Priest were not present at Worlds this weekend - which I am fine with. Guessing that Mage, Paladin, Druid, Warrior and Shaman might be all that appears.
@@Numero6dl Demon Hunter was a weak bring. Only Meati and Pockettrain brought Priest. If you saw Meati commenting in Thijs's stream after Day 1, even he didn't think anyone else besides him and Pockettrain were bringing Demon Hunter. It aged fine.
3:02 "practicly free" I guess i gotta play more than one ot two games a day for my bounties to catch up with these guys 😅 Even 15 ketchup packs didnt get me the required nagas 😢

Which nerf? The Last one or the next one 😅
We're supposedly getting one next week, to address the Paladin problem.
What problem, if it was up to me I would never nerf anything.. just buff some weaker decks

I played Even Warrior to legend this season in wild. Just eats aggro
If bliizard will only nerf aggro/midrange pala then all hell is going to break loose 'cuz fire drood will be tier S.
What a banger
This meta seems uninteractive. The player who draws their wincon first wins. Reno fo example.
That Quest Mage in wild is the worst. I wish I was playing unnerfed Shutterwalk.

Post that didn't age well.

Nah every time i play aggro the game pairs me against renathal greedy control decks that have an answers for everything, i will stay on my reno shaman

Im shocked ketchup packets got you any cards
maybe the Countess should only give a couple of Invitations, or else maybe they should cost three instead of two
4:20 okay
"Reno hunters cost has gone far beyond common sense" 😂😂 i guess I'm lacking cooling since 😅 i golded most of the cards for this deck
