When I retired I changed my previous 2020 BMW M340i for a cheaper to buy and run 2023 Honda Civic e:HEV Advance (first registered in Sept. 2023). I have been blown away by the tremendous ride (better than the BMW), handling and build quality (equal of my BMWs and much better than the AMG Mercs I had before). The Honda just seems SO well engineered and, with the instant torque of the electric motor, it genuinely feels virtually as fast as the BMW on initial pull-away from a standstill up to about 30mph. Various testers in the U.K. have achieved 0-60mph times of 6.8 seconds (0-100kph 7.3secs). Even at higher speeds the Honda, whilst slower than the BMW, it isn’t THAT much slower; I suppose it is about 350kg lighter after all!
Klingt sehr sportlich 👌
Sounds good.
Best on TH-cam
Klingt komisch aber dennoch sportlich
It moves only with electricity but on higher speeds there is clutch engagement (there are no gears) in a ratio to 1 by 1. This is where we should see consumption.
It’s not only driven by the electric motor, the gasoline engine can power the front wheels directly in speeds above 70 km/h
0-50 -> mainly electric
50-70 -> mainly Hybrid
70-130 -> mainly gasoline with some extra boost from the battery
130-190 -> Hybrid
It’s also simulating gears to make the pickup feel more natural
189 - 182 why that difference
I think in winter and heavy rain most cars either electric or petrol will stuggle
Yes, even the cars made by the mighty german badges
180 ps max spid kmh ??? 220 kmh
190 bei Regen im Winter ....eieiei
Not sensible driving....
Hm, ich hätte gedacht der geht besser, schlagt mich.
No one that doesn‘t hate his car treats it like this 😢.
That's not gonna hurt, it's a Honda.
The sound is actually artificial. This car has CVT, so no actual gears. And ICE is actually converting power to electricity, so everything is running with electric motor.
@@Puj0 Hello there. Do you know if the sound of the gear changes is just coming from speakers, or if the engine is actually "simulating" gear changes by running at different rpm? I know that the engine has a clutch so that it can drive the wheels directly when it feels the need to do so, but i'm wondering how and why they simulate gear changes.
@@somochrome4439 No idea, really. CVTs usually make engine run at nearly constant RPM where it is most efficient or gives the most power. It depends how Honda setup ECU.
I didn't understand
What?

Those numbers are embarrassing.
Von hinten kommend links blinken ist Nötigung.

Its not a performance car , its a economy car big difference
