- Bbc1 comedy chat show, from around 1994. Slightly more probing interviews this time & only 2 guests. First 60 seconds of the tape were a mess, but that's all that's missing. Very interesting chat with Carrie Fisher, as they have history together; and very funny watching Ruby entertain herself when 'ms Fisher' is late ;-)

I love both these women, and Carrie's friend Hannah was right, what happened to 8 year old Ruby...that was cruel of every adult there. But when your own family is cruel, it's painful, sadly, I know that all too well.
Can anybody fully name Hannah? She is not in the credits.

Great interview! I love Carrie! She's so bright. Must have been lots of fun to talk to I imagine. Every interview I've seen of her she has her legs tucked up under her. Just an observation....

It's shocking how Eddie Izzard 25 years ago was explaining things in a way we are still having to explain in 2020.
Male & female roles & ways of being have been roughly the same for 100's if not a few thousand years, you shouldn't really be 'shocked' that fundamental changes to societal 'norms' take more than just a few years to settle in. Perhaps certain things take longer to change as they simply don't compute in the Neanderthal brain we still have, or perhaps because they may not be the right way to proceed, only time will tell.
It's interesting how Eddie describes himself here as simply enjoying womens clothes and style, to just recently deciding to be referred to as a she. I for one am very glad that people can grow and change, and that society as a whole is much more accepting of people than it was in the past. If you do find yourself surrounded by people who don't accept you as you are, get out and find some new friends.
Of course animals have relationships with each other, all kinds of surprising one's 😊😊😊

I hate to see a video where interesting people gets talked over ... or the interesting person just talks when the other person talk, I want to hear what the interesting person says clearly..
I kinda think these sort of interviews are the most interesting because you see the person being interviewed really open up and be themselves, you're able to see them as they really are. Not something you'd necessarily see if it was like a sit down chat show in front of an audience.
