I just found your channel while looking for my second bike. I appreciate you being open with your Christianity! And being totally truthful and honest about your bikes! God bless!
Vulcan 800 was my first bike when i turned 20. Bike is tough as nails because i drove it rain or shine for 2 years and never changed the oil. Not once did i ever have an issue with it. Miss that bike.
Damn, I’m so tired of this entry level bike comment. It could be entry level for someone, but it doesn’t mean it’s only for beginners. I’ve chosen this bike for commute, because it’s been cheap, in good condition, light enough for filtering and because you may not ride faster than 60 mph in my country anyhow. Sometimes people choose just what’s practical for them and not by the maximum power they can handle. And for daily commute you also don’t want the most powerful bike.
I’m 6’3” and i want a cruiser, but i don’t want it to be to large and to heavy. I like the look of the classic Vulcans like the one you’re riding and the 1500s but what bike would fit me properly? Right now i’m riding a café version of the yamaha xv950(bolt in the us) which is a small bike, but your tall aswell so i like to know from you. Just wanna say thanks in advance and I love your channel.
I’m happy to hear it makes the same sort of whistling noise as mine when you come off the gas I think. Iv just had my clutch main bearing replaced and it’s all perfect but still makes that noise. Yours does too so it’s just how they are I suppose. I love my VN 800 Classic I’m commenting even years after this video Incase anyone else is worried by the noise
I have a 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic with stage 1 jet kit hypercharger and Mac high performance straight pipes no baffles. It rides ok when it is in a good mood. The carburetor is sometimes a pain in the butt
Is it weird that I’m watching this for the first time randomly and it’s Thursday the day before Good Friday and you mentioned that in the video lol sheesh that’s crazy
I am gonna go look at one of these next week, 1997, been driven like 40 000 something km. From what the owner have told the the only or main problem is that the speedometer wire have snapped, other than that it should work fine. Asking price being 2500€ but she is willing to potentially go lower. Thoughts and ideas? Im thinking if i can get it down to 2000€ it could be worth it, surely replacing the speedometer wire shoulndt be too difficult or expensive?
nice review man! I am thinking about getting one of these, kinda thought the 800 would be to small (engine-wise) but it seems to move along just fine for a cruiser!
Thanks for all your great honest reviews ! Thanks for sharing your faith too ! I hope you always do that . I pray God's blessings on you and your business .
Is 800 a good starter bike for 5'11 ft and 176lbs ? I'm thinking of getting one, I wondered about Vulcan 500 but I can really afford to outgrow a bike, because it seems small
I bought this exact bike today from SRK and I'm 5'11 too so I can say- this is a great bike for your size. I only rode a GZ250 and a Magna 700 before this
You're lucky to have such straight much safer roads in the country there compared to the country in Ireland, really horrible roads here by comparison and narrow and to make it even worse we got high hedges everywhere creating blind bends. Lovely bike, my style of bike, I don't like the more upright sporty bikes and the higher centre of gravity makes them feel much heavier. I just got my learner permit and have to ride a minimum 50 Kw bike for the top A license here, I can ride anything but have to pass the test with minimum 50 Kw and I think this bike or the Yamaha XVS950 V-Star Bolt would be good first bikes. I sat ont he Yamaha yesterday and it's a really nice comfortable bike compared to the higher sporty bikes + I'm short 5 foot 8 so the Yamaha was definitely a lot better for me. I sat on the Rebel 500, another lovely bike for my height but it hasn't the power to pass the A test. The Shadow 750 is nice too but again, not powerful enough. Now all I need is to find one within budget.
Would anyone say that having a carburetor instead of fuel injection, and having a chain and sprockets instead of a shaft drive are significant negatives on this Vulcan 800 in this current day and age?
I'm glad you mentioned Jesus on this video and his significance. May someone ask themselves why you mentioned him, but maybe once the click in their heads will happen and they will realise what does it really mean personally for them, for their lives, for their existance... And, that's a nice bike, nice ride, nice sound, I love it. I'd like to buy one, one day I'd able to. :)
Yet need to get my motorlicense still, but have been looking at this specific type of bike, and i think it will be a good bike to start with. I like the oldschool style it has, kind off like a ''cheap harley'' to me XD. I also love the sound it makes, nothing hairdryer like, real motorcycle.
Do you think this bike would be able to cruise at around 60-70mph comfortably and without feeling like it needs another gear for a grown man that’s 6ft and around 240lbs? I got my first bike not long ago and it’s a 2000 Yamaha v star 650 and now that I have got good and used to it I love it but when I get up to speed it has a pretty bad vibration and seems like it needs another gear lol. Plus when 2 up with my wife which is pretty small it is a hair sluggish.

nice bike! and amen! But He isn't in the tomb anymore lol I try to watch passion of the Christ every good Friday evening so wild what He is willing to do for us
No worries. I came for a review of the 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic - not to be preached at. I appreciated your thoughts on the bike, but about the time you left the church parking lot, I figured that was my cue to leave, too. Have a good one!
+Sean Kerr I watched your video because I have that same spec'ed bike but with Vance & Hines pipes on it. Thought it would be fun to get another's impression of it. I did get good info, thank you. While there are about 2Bn xians on earth, there are close to 7Bn people total. Can't hurt your number of views to make your videos more welcoming to everyone.
+Sean Kerr Sorry, dude... I came for motorcycle videos. Not looking for half a video on fishing or any other non related topic. Please let me know if you change it up to be inclusive of everyone =)
+Sean Kerr As a former devout believer and without getting into a theological debate, I appreciate a good salesman - though I would say you are in the minority, especially when it comes to the prosperity gospel. Whether or not your belief in god is the reason you care so much really isn't germane to the conversation or the video in this case. You can still have those feelings, but they really add nothing to telling anyone about a motorcycle.
+Sean Kerr I didn't. Reread that. I said you are in the minority, especially when it comes to the prosperity gospel. The PG is all about making money, so I figured you are not a part of that.
Jesus didn't die on the cross for our sins. He suffered in the garden for our sins. He was resurrected post cross as a path to immortality. He still lives. Amen.
because any man who believes a friend could go to a place called hell, and not warn men that man wouldn't be of much integrity, for you call it a blessing in disguise ,you don't want it,but you may regret it later ...Jesus died for you He loves so much ,that is the good news that Christ died for our sins and rose again .....good news ,not bad news ...love your videos keep mentioning Jesus never stop
My wife learned on this bike. We have two 96 800cc Classics and I wouldn't trade them for the world! Great video!

The Vulcan 800 to ME is the PERFECT looking, affordable, reliable cruiser. Just look how damn gorgeous it is !
Damn, I’m so tired of this entry level bike comment. It could be entry level for someone, but it doesn’t mean it’s only for beginners. Japanese bikes are just so nice. I'm thinking of buying a 2004 Kawasaki VN

Keep spreading the word and selling bikes. GOD Bless brother.
He said " By no means fast" ........really? I've smoked Harley 1200 's on this thing
same
Shaun forreal ya 1200 sportster do 100 mph down hill anything can beat them
Harleys are slow, so overtaking a harley doesn't take much, plus they are about the same power and harleys weight much more
Yea they are fucking fast!
*Shaunforreal*
That's crazy stuff right there! What distance with your 800 did you get in front of *Harley* *1200* ?
Just curious.
Thank you.

I love my VN 800 Classic

this whistle sound i hear in my virago 125 too. the timing chain probably makes this type of sound when it slides along the tensioner/guide.
Great review and I just love the transition from punching stuff gloves to J.C.
I have a 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic with stage 1 jet kit hypercharger and Mac high performance straight pipes no baffles. It rides ok when it is in a good mood. The carburetor is sometimes a pain in the butt
What a smooth engine , nice acceleration and sound! good review! all the best
Nice bike, I like the sound of the engine and this machine looks kinda fun to ride !
Is it weird that I’m watching this for the first time randomly and it’s Thursday the day before Good Friday and you mentioned that in the video lol sheesh that’s crazy
Religion is a part of every video he makes.
This bike has got gooood power.

I normally don't like gold paint that much, but that gold looks good.
How well does it keep up with highway speeds? 110-120 km (68 mph-74 mph)
nice review man! I am thinking about getting one of these, kinda thought the 800 would be to small (engine-wise) but it seems to move along just fine for a cruiser!
yeah it moves pretty good i just got a vulcan 900 in , stay posted to see the test ride on that one
Great vid' and ride. Makes me want to get out on my VN800. Hope the Lord's giving you good MPG. :)
+Sean Kerr I tend to get about 120 miles before I hit reserve, whether I cruise or give it some beans.
Thanks for all your great honest reviews ! Thanks for sharing your faith too ! I hope you always do that . I pray God's blessings on you and your business .
Amen! Keep preaching!!
Amen bro
He is Risen!
Shawn looked like he was doomguy from DOOM cuz of his gloves and riding a motorcycle punching the demons lol
Thank God for Bros. like you ...
My daughter’s has a set of Cobra pipes and the thing sounds GREAT!

How does this compare to the magna? Thanks!
When are you taking the space shuttle for a test drive

Appreciate it, thanks :)
Did he answer?

So for a 6’2-6’3 guy is not recommend it?
Thinking about stepping up to this bike next year somewhere from a Honda Shadow vt 600. How's the bike on the highways?
+Sean Kerr thanks! I also subbed :-) Good cruiser reviews.
You're a good man Sean. God bless you.
The Suzuki and Kawasaki 800, they about the same ride? They both are cool bikes.
Sounds WAY better than the Volusia 800.
I've got an 05 Vulcan classic 800 and it's pretty damn fast I smoke harleys daily
Is it faster than a Vulcan s650? Is it same engine
Should I buy one today
If I'm 6'3 259 can I ride for a starter bike?
I'm 230 will this bike a good beginning bike for me
it's sound great! what type the exhaust ??

It'll be OK most of the time. If it has the big barn door windscreen, it might struggle a little into a stiff headwind.
Om confused . If it’s a full injected bike why do you keep saying carburetor and choke ?
900 is FI, 800 has carburetor
One of these for sale.in my area, 8900 miles, $3000, thinking about it for a first bike
Are these fuel Injected?
No. Carburetor
I love you spreading the truth about Jesus
Happy Easter!
