Loved your video. I just purchased the tamiya 1/10 CR-01 orange unimog. I want to add upgrades that will not only make it better but realistic to do so. There are so many hop-up parts out there. I'm strictly wanting to make it the best crawler. I was hoping you can save me time, and money on buying the best parts. If you had to do it all over again what would you have me buy to make the best crawler. Thanks!
Well, I don’t think it can be the best crawler, but it is a great kit to build. All I would change is putting a slower lower KV higher turn motor in, putting in an esc without Turbo, and changing the wheels and tires for some super soft RC4WD 2.2” ones in steel rims. The rest I would leave the same.
Thanks for the fast reply. I understand what your saying. I seen a video where a guy with a Toyota land crusier added 10mm to the front link, and shortened the back link to 15mm. It seems it makes sense to widen the front end as the land crusier, and unimog are high up versus your set up. What do you think? Also if so how do you go about changing the links? Or just leave it alone?
I've been researching tires, where's, motors, and ESC. And what about the servo? Is the servo good enough from the kit? Does it come with one? I haven't received my kit in the mail yet. Before I buy parts, I wanted yo research them until kit arrives

Some necessary upgrades, besides wheels and tires for the stick kit. Shocks, and locked diffs.

You referenced (a stick kit). What is that?
