Oh how I wish you lived close to me! My foot slipped off my brake at a stop light yesterday - my front license plate plastic cover scuffed the plastic hiding the trailer hitch on a brand NEW 2023 wagoneer at the light in front of me. I offered to pay for the minor damages out of pocket but the woman’s husband didn’t seem to like that. Then, hours later - my 7 year old son accidentally damaged his iPad screen which was $800! I’m a single mom (lost my mother & my sons father both to suicide) & my job 2.5 months ago. I can’t catch a break. Sons bio dad used to fix iPads & iPhones all the time! Oh how I miss him ❤ Sorry for the rant… I’m just a discouraged mama right now with no means to fix his iPad even w/his birthday in 20 days. *Sigh* Thank you for your videos! Very informative! Followed 😊 Good luck with your channel!
Sorry for the late response. I'm sorry you're going through a lot. Do you think you could mail the iPad to me? send me a message at jantzen@nerdyneighbor.co and I'll see if I can help you out.
@@blitzbreppin9847 I can, I'm not sure it will be the most economical option, but if you send me a message, we can give it a shot. jantzen@nerdyneighbor.co I accidentally posted my wrong email. Just corrected that.
I did what you told me, and have a nice new screen but my iPad just won’t turn on and when I plug it in I hear the apple charging sound. What’s the issue?
Am try this but instead of replacing the screen idk why I think when I threw my phone it didn’t break the screen it broke the lcd but heh this yea he me to try to keep my cool when playing games
For touch ID to remain functional, you need to replace the home button on the new digitizer with the one that is on the broken screen because that home button is paired with the logic board cuz Apple doesn't like people repairing their products you can also hold the LCD panel with your chin while screwing down the ribbon cable shield
Yeah way too fast.. no reminder about keeping the home button, no mention to avoid the digitizer when removing screen, no battery disconnect.. explanation of the home button connector not good either. This is not a video you can properly use to perform this replacement. I wish I used a different one going into this
I can for sure replace the screen. If there are other issues, I might be able to help, if you're willing to send it to me. email me at jantzen@nerdyneighbor.co and I'll see if I can help you out.
Thank you! Your video helped me ALOT in replacing the screen on my iPad. I’ll be sure to keep it away from my son this time around 😂
Do the Apple Pencil still works with new digitizer
I struggle a bit with those lego connectors. What glue do you use to attach home button.
Amazingly helpful - couldn't have done it without you - thanks for the content!!

Does the Touch ID still work? Did you transfer the home button?? About to tackle my nieces broken iPad. Thanks.
It's a good idea to transfer the home button, for sure. I can't remember if I did on this replecement.

You’re the best. The only one that has explained the two ribbon cables having adhesive and adhering them to the back of the screen. Thank you!
how much will the average price of LCD screen repair cost?
Temu $12-16 kit, Amazon 25-30
Good luck with your channel keep up the good work and you won't be disappointed 🔥

Can you recover my iPad 9th gen😢😢
I can for sure replace the screen. If there are other issues, I might be able to help, if you're willing to send it to me. email me at jantzen@nerdyneighbor.co and I'll see if I can help you out.
Put the new lcd in and now it won’t register any touch, it’s touching shit on its own and it doesn’t register anything that I touch
Changed everything without disconnect battery ? That’s a mistake
No eye pro? Ballsy decision my guy.
Too fast when it gets intricate
Sorry about that. Next time I replace one, I'll try slowing it down for those parts. Thanks for the feedback!
My iPad is broken. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
