    Wow! Super helpful video. Looking at replacing my current floor and bamboo is near the top of my list. Didn't know about all of the choices/variations, and your video really helped a lot. Thanks!

    Hello and thank you for this video! I am trying to avoid binders and chemicals that off gas and am looking for the traditional bamboo and color. Do fossilized and the other pressed kinds of bamboo use chemical binders or just the high pressure? Can you recommend something?

      Yes, they contain chemicals that will offgas. The levels are probably negligible.

    How can I tell if my horizontal bamboo is carbonized or not? I want to refinish it to a lighter color as well if bleaching is possible. Any advice is appreciated thanks!

    In your opinion is there any company that equals to Cali bamboo but little cheaper?

    What are most popular bamboo floors without pharmaldehyde?

    Real quick. How do you install compressed bamboo? Glue or nails? Or nothing

    Staining the bamboo is different from carbonizing, right?
    We can still achieve a darker colour without losing the strength

      @elmohead ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes but the stain may not penetrate all the way through.

    Can these be placed over a concrete slab? And Nevada it's very dry I think it possibly could be placed there

      My $0.02, I am doing this right now. If you know for sure there is a vapor barrier under the slab, should be fine. If not or you don’t know, I’d definitely recommend installing a vapor barrier membrane beneath and doing a floating install on top. You can alternatively use cork underlayment, glue it to the slab then glue the bamboo floor to the cork.
