People keep comparing him to proto.exe, he is more of a improved sigma (x1) imo. And, yeah that’s a good thing we definitely do not need another “protoman.exe” in the game, you have no idea what it is like to fight him with crappy red ping XD definitely not interested in using him either. Might give it a try to colonel if I ever get him randomly, since he is probably the best counter to proto.exe to date, although he really doesn’t feel like a fun character (way too straight forward, nothing really new or that demands practice ).
May I ask you about your thoughts on protoman.exe? (Like, is he more of a means to an end in ranked or genuinely enjoyable to play as?). I ask out of curiosity, not trying to be judgemental or anything, just want to know the opinion of an experienced player.
@@-Seaheart- Basically, if you want to have an easier time to get to GA, use him. I don't like using ProtoMan.EXE at all because he trivialize almost every single battles I have against other characters. In a mirror match, the match usually feels like "who can land sonic boom first"

The General is pretty small compare to MMX4 game and I was dumb enough to try climb aboard on his floating hands thinking it'll be going to be same like in the MMX4 and ended up damaging myself a few times 🙄🤣

Why is Zero an A rank? I know in the original X games hes an A rank hunter but Colonel is weaker than Zero cuz Zero defeats him... But Cononels an S rank?
Ranks are based on skills from what I can tell, as well as accessibility. Besides, we'll never know how powerful Colonel and Iris would have been if they stayed a single entity as opposed to being split. Colonel Iris is actually coming soon though apparently.
"Rank" in Xdive is'nt related to their in-story ranks in the canons game. (Heck, if that was the case some characters who did'nt belong to the Maverick Hunters would not have rank?). It depends on their acquisition method. S rank:only obtainable throught the gacha (or special event like the spring chest/slowly collecting 40 memories) A-Rank offered as rewards by playing their respective event stage (ex, we got Zero (Z) memory from the rockman Zero event. B-rank:basically free characters. The higher ranked they are, the less chance you have to obtain them from a capsule.
