Hello, The main feature that I like is the ability to get into and out of the machine without having to walk under a raised load. Thanks for posting this review. Shalom/gw
A friend has the JCB Teleskid. It is an animal. He uses a converted Holmes 600 winch box on it. If anyone could twist up a boom it would be him. He hasn't. And he can wreck an anvil with a feather duster. I really like the side entry when working alone and rigging chains and stuff.
Thanks for making the video. I have a 270T on order so hopefully I’ll have it within a few weeks. These machines aren’t as popular as the big names and I looked at several but I kept going back to the JCB. Again, thanks for the content. We need more info on these machines.
@@pavelkolp good question. I think the price has gone up substantially since I bought it not even a year ago. I locked in my price about a year from today though. My buddy was looking to buy one as well but we were shocked how much more expensive it was even from the same place.
Chris, you should wait to grease the unit after you have washed it. That way you push out any water left in the joints that way they do not rust. Field In Michigan
Ryan Kusterof "How Farms Work" has a JCB teleskid and he loves it He and his family have a couple of farms in Potosi Wi I'm a Wisconsin native born and raised in Butler Wi I noticed the Morgans cup in the holder keep the videos coming Love em
I used to run a JCB back in the early 2000s, I loved that machine and miss running it. They are easy to operate. The only bad thing is, the one I was running had tires, so any little bump would compress my back
HAY CHRIS, NICE EQUIPMENT... I WAS REALLY INTO A.S.V. TILL I FOUND OUT THEY DON'T HAVE ANY SALES OR SERVICE IN MEXICO... BUT THEY DO HAVE J.C.B., THANX FOR THE WALK AROUND, AND SHAREIN' YOUR THOUGHTS... STAY COOL BROTHER... PEACE...
Exactly what I was thinking. When I also think that Andy with farming and fixing and fabricating probably use most types of machines as much as Anybody near Syracuse New York on the dairy farm.
That machine is stout!! I worked with a farmer today loadin logs.. he loaded a 36" diameter white oak 12' 6" long on my trailer and didn't even attempt to tip... He claimed he's loaded 7000 lb logs with it no problem... I want one!
That machine is definitely a beast,I have had a chance to walk around one a few times and they are built heavy..as a forman at a heavy equipment repair and fab shop I've seen numerous bobcats, cat skids and recently more kubota skids coming in with major repairs needed, booms broke, quick attach plates broke and twisted but haven't seen any jcbs at all..maybe nobody is using them or they are just really tough lol.great video bud, take care.
Why did you buy it?🤔 Because it’s awesome! 😃 I am new to the world of skid steers; Having gotten some property that was too rough for the tractor to handle, I ended up getting a 2017 Gehl RT 210. 460 hours, enclosed, high flow, 35 gallon per minute, low flow, 21 gallon per minute. I already have JCB and ASV envy! 😄 I am running a blue diamond 60 inch extreme brush cutter.
Have you had any problem with the door popping open? mine's less than a month old and I've attempted to adjust the catch twice but the door still keeps popping open while I'm working.
Interesting engine, very large displacement, 4.4 liters. Bigger engine than a Cat299D or Kubota 97 Huge torque. But engine is derived to 74hp to simplify the emissions requirement. That’s a smart move.
I also love these machines. I priced a 3T teleskid the dealer quoted me at 100 grand. Little high i thought. Do you know if the ECM is in the belly pan?
If the Tele skid was available when I bought this one I would have had a tough decision to make. $20k more for the teleskid may have been tough to justify....
I wouldn’t say it’s a beast, I would give it an average score. There are so many better and stronger skids. As long as your happy with it that’s all that matters.
Never been around any JCB equipment... I understand they are made in England? What engine, how much HP? I always wondered about that offset single boom design, but if you say you caught a stump tooling along and came to a sudden stop and didn't tweak anything, I'll believe it. With all that glass, if the A/C dies in the summer, so do you.

How much did you pay for the 270T? Also how are you liking it?
@@pavelkolp I was right at $69K before taxes. I absolutely love it. I just ordered a Snow Wolf Quattro Plow for it too.
@@hammy7139 where did you order it? All dealers near me in Northern California are asking around $80k

I’m in NorCal too. I run certain model bobcats, certain model Cases’, but I really like Takeuchi‘s. Great fricking machines.
That JCB has served you well. I thought what mos guys thought about them twisting. Keep up the great work Chris! Doing Amazing things!!

Good point! Thanks!
Good evening Chris. I really like the side entry door & I also like the O.D.W.T.M's travel mug!!!

It will be interesting to see what dirt perfect does. Either side door or a rollup door is the best way to go. Thank you for the walk around.

Chris, nice walk around review! Great format! Keep up the fantastic work!
Regarding the boom, I agree. I’m sure JCB worked out all of the torque loading, balance, and beefed everything up accordingly. 🤔
CHRIS, nice skid steer.
JBC....J'ust C'an't B'eat it !!
Always good to have the tools to do the job!
I was woundering how well the lift arm would hold.. Nice overview too..
Btw at the 45sec mark that is such a Purdy blue, and its naked too. Drool 🤤😁👍

I bet that thing is a blast to run!!! Can you have some of the windows tinted to cut down on some of the sun coming in on you? Thank for the info

Does make sense buy it with over 1000 hours ? Or brand new better?

How did you get it for $61,000? All dealers in Northern California are asking around $80,000
I bought it before the rush. Had 19 hours from them demoing it for a farm nearby.

What year is this machine? When Did you purchase?
2021, thanks!

That button is not the float. It’s the boom stabilization. A nitrogen gas canister to smooth the ride.
I saw the Morgans tumbler.
How has it held up for you?
700 hours now and only replaced the fuel filter bowl and changed oil.
Thank you
Used in my area cost more now than when this video came out. Just wow.
Yes, I have seen the same here. Would be 80k new now, I paid 63
Do you no where a guy can order that phanolic material at? I’d like to put that under my push plate. Thanks!
I have Osseo Plastics cut mine for me. They are in Osseo WI
Picked up a awesome machine just subscribe looking forward to new videos
Chris, how does it do on snow and ice?
Pretty good, slips a little but handles a 10 ft box snow pusher really well.
Nice Equipment

This one says assembled and engineered in USA. 74 HP JCB engine, no DEF/DPF

Glass blocks UV, no need for sunscreen.
Update?
I just paid $84k out the door…feel like I might have gotten screwed 😢
You should sell this to me!
Jcb is a hard sell in my area. Haven't heard good things about reliability.
Dat gum i way over paid for mine......
Do you really think TH-camRS are interested in YOU watering down a Machine., Pleassssssse
