Dont even need a specific frame, just stay in your archwing. Pull your your tranq and aim down sights. When something is the your vicinity that can be captured, your tranq rifle will start beeping. Capture targets will show up on your minimap if you withing your detecting mod range. Scope around and animals will be highlighted. Tranq from your archwing. Only ranged units can attack you, melee units will just growl at you. The only ranged units that are a nuisance are the flying larvae parasite. Otherwise everything else can be ignored. You dont even need to exit archwing to claim captures, just fly right up to them, easy. Keep an eye out for infested that seeming to be fighting something. Like I said, melee units will only stand around or walk, they cannot interact with you. If you see something likes like fighting or infested are running in any other direction than towards you, very likely kubrow or kavat spawned. Any other capture target infested do not interact with.
Also if you put keybind for the tranc and use Itzal with strength, duration and with some range you do not need to worry about those annoying flying 3 legged things to attack you. Once you see message that something is attacking you, press the keybind to go off the tranc mode and press your 4 . Your drones go out and nuke those things while you can continue hunting. Another tip is to wait your drones to expire, because once you use your tranc on the animals and your drones are out, they will attack your animal.
Everyone and their grandma suggested Preparation, but those pimples gives you guaranteed energy pickups; just break a few of them (you'd be breaking them for resources anyways) and you're set.

I'm glad this is easier in the new zone. I'm nearly rank 29 and never did animal conservation in the previous 2 open world zones. It was far too tedious. This is much easier and more straightforward!
Thanks really ! I'm using that method right now with just some little changes on my equinox build (no forma on it but with the new mod "Energy Nexus" no needs for "Preparation" anymore). I don't even use the archwing. Just roaming the area with the tranq rifle and when I detect something, I just run for it and spam "Rest". You can put to sleep 3 creatures easily with one tap without using your rifle and when they sleep, just to spam X to collect them. I came back with almost 200 animal tags in less than an hour and I finally found the Panzer Vulpaphyla I was missing. If I knew back then that you can put to sleep animals with Equinox just like the tranq rifle, I would've done it sooner !
I'd also suggest as an alternative, equipping Juice on your K-drive, then do tricks to max out your energy. Even a half-ranked Juice can fill your energy in seconds.
The animal spawns might be tied to rank or cambrian drift level. I didn't see a single one of those small insect animals until I got the rank for its lure. You can test the level theory by doing a high level bounty then just stay in the drift after you are done and see if more animals spawn
I have found only 2 groups of three Avichaea. And I haven't unlocked their lure yet. Maybe there is an increase to their frequency with higher rep, but lure is not necessary to find them. But they are def rare.
Just remember to look through the tranq rifle scope every now and then. Conservation targets will be highlighted when the rifle beeps every two seconds or so.
Hey wanted to add. If you hold aim with your tranq gun, and you are in range [100m I think] of an animal, there will be an audio queue every second that will also synchronize with the flashing silhouette of the animal. And the flashing can be seen through objects. So once you hear the tone, start looking. I've found it easiest to just stay archwing, staying around the edges of map looking inwards. Hope this helps.
@Sicarignus they drop from the vaults as well but even the bounties have horrible drop chances for scintillant i've been playing the bounties almost nonstop and haven't gotten a single scintillant
if you dont have equinox, jsut flay around with gun, thats already something. Doing it in normal way is ok, but you have to return for some species to get them again, lot of enemies attack and fail capture, but the most anoying thing is that son token ask a lot of species for one token, but you need a lot of them to move forward specially when standing farming is so fast
The probleme is the Avichaea spawn is soooooo low, right now i'm doing this methode for 50 min and i found every animal excepte... I didn't find a single Avichaea ! :(
@@punani_slayer4209 the biggest thing is that some infested drones can kill them when you try to pick them up, that's what happen to me this morning... after 1h 3 off them has spawn but 1 killed by this infested drones :( luckly only 1 needed so it's ok ^^
Some of the animals only spawn at a certain cycle for those who can’t find a specific one. This advice helped me and I hope it can help someone else !!
just a reminder, if you want the new pets, be sure to have, idk, a charger or something chasing you, after putting them to sleep with rifle, hug them untill charger hit them and game change them to weakened, then capture, it also work on ones you spawn using the lures, just be in a position that infested attacks will hit them as well.
For everzone who has trouble to find Avichaea, there is a fixed spawn location for them on the very edge of the peninsula in the north west of the map. Pretty much the most north west point of the map. Don't fly in to close these things are tiny and when they are flying they are very hard to hit. Usually I try to hit both (always 2) asap, if I miss the second I fly close to it and shoot it in mid air during flight but it happend to me that they fall of the map when shot in mid air. Anyway you can farm these 2 in like 3 min and reset the map. Hope that helps (sometimes there even spawn the rare version), another tip is using itzal an go invisible for shooting and looting so the face huggers don't annoy you, I also experienced that they can kill already traquilized animals.
Its easier to melee Weakened animals - You wont kill them, just down them to capture - note that animal You want to capture this way HAS TO HAVE "WEAKENED" prefix in their name btw RNG sucks - just cant drop neither engine nor pod for necramech :( edit: spelling
Still super-useful for us uber-newbs in 2022! ;) Finally getting around to completing my main quest line, so need my Necramech - which requires rank 2 entrati and rank 2 Loid, just to get the Voidrig BP - I already have the parts I bought cheap on market. And what a grindfest it is just to get those 2 factions ranked up to level 2! This should help a lot, thanks mate. Now, if I could only get some Orokin Orientation Matrix to drop - done a few vaults & only getting Ballistics rarer ones, go figure 8-/.
I’ve noticed the chamber with the door back to town often will contain the the non flying beasts (or a couple infested enemies) after having run missions or been out hunting/fishing. Do a quick check before going through the gate. I’ve been fine with loki and running the map edge. tranqing animals on Deimos is much easier than elsewhere so sleeping them is not such a big deal. Magus lockdown also works well enough. Perfect caps are not that fussy
I got the Best way to farm Common Aquiveas, 100% guaranty. On start the mission, equip the hunt weapon and check the mark near Brain Magma, there is an Aquivea there (if you find trouble finding the POOP, equip the regular scanner), don't follow the path go straight to the cave make the sound, go up to the read brain outside and there it is. Exit the mission and just repeat this 5 times, will save you a LOT of random Farm!
Avichaea is abit tricky cause sometime they spawn in walls ,not to mention with all those blue ish & red color from brain & cysts make them hard to see inside,the way i farmed was start the trackin ,lure point is 90% inside the cerebrum brain,rush in thru cave ,call them, then go out in archwing and look above the celebrum u can get even 3 to spawn,but yea sometimes they are in walls & it seems they dont fall straight
You didn't mention it early on but instead of going to Fortuna you can get the Tranq gun in Necralisk from Son. But I get the feeling you had this video made before the hotfix yesterday huh?
I did this method, if you have your tranq rifle out it will only beep if there’s animals near by. So zoom around the edge scoped in until I start to hear the beeping which is when I slow down and look around
You are farming at the same place I found out yesterday the Daemos Terminus. It seems quite peaceful and theres a fishing spot and pylon. Found a cryptilex there but some tendril drone just killed it before I could interact with it.
Btw, in both poe n fortuna, i just hunt animals for standings, they r easy n fast to cap out Poe hunt during night, vasca roam a lot during night time Fortuna hunt kubrodon, use the rare lure, it gives 8k standings per animal, just a 15min run Well for this entranti, i just farm mother tokens, very ez farm with mesa

I have a slightly related question, I am trying to do one of the mutations. I have all 3 required parts, an animal and 2 mutagens, I see the checkmarks on all three and I can select them. Then It shows me the purchase button for 5000credits or something like that. When I click it it says weapon could not be constructed, parts have not been consumed. I made sure I purchased pet slots before. Any idea why its not working?
Was wondering the best combination of antigen and mutagen for each predasite and vulpaphyla. Would be cool if you did a guide on the look, benefits, and disadvantages for each one.
Ok so one thing i have noticed is the mining i this place is the same as the last two open world but they have odder loctions. But i found alot of the mining spots near the vault area.
help with soloing the vault and i don't use limbo, revenant, chroma or inaros. my 4 least fav frames I've forma'd tons but just dont like using. I usually use octavia, nova, protea, wukong etc.
The only thing that doesn’t spawn on the edge of the map are the velocipods which you need to get to rank up. They might spawn but I farmed for 6+ hours and I have never seen them spawn on the edge.
The Velocipods cant be kept, once u find one in Deimos, you can ride it around like a regular K-drive, but u cant keep it, as for finding them, its the same as finding any other animal, thing is that they nvr show up for my on my tranq rifle
I found animals be attacked by the infested assholes. It felt so good to rescue them before I...enslaved them. Am I a bad person? It was a a good cause, the Floofs!
This ISNT hard.. Not at all.. Many are wondering around, and dont need a lure.. But is the LIST done of Whats What on the wiki?? Whats pain is you have to go up ranks, to get all the Lures. And when you Buy materials Like the Gem making, it takes away from your Daily payout. If you buy a weapon to build it take away from your daily.. Would be nice if we could replace it
This is probably gonna get nerfed really soon. Equinox used to give perfect cap on PoE and Vallis animals but now any sleep abilitys only give good caps (Or worse i dont really remember as i stopped bothering to use sleep), so i doubt this stays for very long
Hmm the only thing i have a problem is fishing when i throw the infest spear i get bugged and can't move unstuck commands makes it worse then there is also the problem7of it not returning properly and just circling me then i can keep throwing new spears its cool and all but it starts to get annoying
Plz for the love of god make a vid on farming Thaumica. I literally farmed rocks for nearly 4 hours straight and go 1 drop of 12. I kno their from the yellowish ore and there post to be a teir 2 rock. Something has to be broken becuz I’ve got 100s of everything else. Some closer to 1000s but 12 of this one. Just nutty thanx
I get tonnes of thaumica from the shrines on the map use it operator to trigger the crystal then kill enemies with operator only u get sheeet tonnes of resources (not scynthian tho or whatever the name is )
Navye Saxena I seen that on reddit and I’ve tried doing that whilest it does give alout of resources I have yet to get any Thaumica from them. My RNG is prolly just terrible. Either way I’m really debating on just buying the frame from the market

I use preparations on alot of my frames, but on the ones that im using power drift, i use hunters adrenaline for energy, works great.
And if you have arcane energized maxed it's a piece of cake
yeah thankfully you don't meed preparation to do anything. energy is abundant on that copy/paste planet which is good.

Sometimes the animals clips through the ground and goes underground 😐😑
It even happened to my warframe one time. unstuck command would just get me higher but still way under the map. I was lucky my team extracted.

Exactly and that's the one we need to reach rank 3. Not to mention you're not even guaranteed to get the tag everytime you capture one which sucks
Just stand on the Avichaea call point and look straight up its small but its there

Spawn is around cerebrum magna atop the mountains. They are small so its hard to see, so the archwing will hinder you ability to see them well

That was a good video just gotta say that the double resource boost is working whith these i just got like 40 tags for 20 mins
For specific animals is ivara. For randoms just archwing and tran rifle
My only problem with Deimos is the color palette. DE need to make an item to show the infested like fish.

I was free raoming around the clifs with Baruk and as you said I found some infested kubros pressed lul and slep 2 out 3 no infested kavat yet

Cant find a damn medjay for the rank 3, flew around for hours even tried the lure a few times with no luck.

This is probably gonna get nerfed really soon. Equinox used to give perfect cap on PoE and Vallis animals but now any sleep abilitys only give good caps (Or worse i dont really remember as i stopped bothering to use sleep), so i doubt this stays for very long

Not sure but does avichaea always flies ? Coz when I catch one it’s in the middle of flight, and it’s extreme hard to spot and shoot one
Went hunting with clan mates on blue worm and we found 2 medjays in under a minute on our 2nd try.
I use these method but i have a problem with the birds, dont appear in the wilds and when i track them doesnt appears too
My main issue is that the bird sometimes falls through the map, never to be seen again lmao

I go as Loki for perfect capture.
Perfect captures are pointless here as you get the same number of tags from a perfect capture that you do from a bad capture.

Hmm the only thing i have a problem is fishing when i throw the infest spear i get bugged and can't move unstuck commands makes it worse then there is also the problem7of it not returning properly and just circling me then i can keep throwing new spears its cool and all but it starts to get annoying
Plz for the love of god make a vid on farming Thaumica. I literally farmed rocks for nearly 4 hours straight and go 1 drop of 12. I kno their from the yellowish ore and there post to be a teir 2 rock. Something has to be broken becuz I’ve got 100s of everything else. Some closer to 1000s but 12 of this one. Just nutty thanx
I get tonnes of thaumica from the shrines on the map use it operator to trigger the crystal then kill enemies with operator only u get sheeet tonnes of resources (not scynthian tho or whatever the name is )
Navye Saxena I seen that on reddit and I’ve tried doing that whilest it does give alout of resources I have yet to get any Thaumica from them. My RNG is prolly just terrible. Either way I’m really debating on just buying the frame from the market
I had the same problem until I used the Nosam Cutter, then I got them more often. Try it with the Nosam if you haven't already.
