You have encouraged me to start back! I haven’t made a wreath since my son passed away in November. My biggest problem seems to be not buying enough of one thing and not enough of another. Loved this video thank you for sharing!
AWWWW!! Thank you so much. I am so blessed by your comment. I have the opposite issue that I buy WAY TOO MUCH of everything. I always say crafting is therapeutic and I am so happy to encourage and inspire people. I think time is the only thing that can work in a situation like yours. I can't imagine losing a child and I am happy that you are able to get back to wreath making. Thanks for watching and more for the moving comment. God bless you and your family.
Awe so sorry about your son! My daughter passed away November 2020 so I know what you mean. I have a hard time getting back into ANYTHING(add Covid to all that too).
@@carlasmyers9589 I'm so sorry about the loss of your daughter. People read these comments and truly feel bad, but only the ones who have experienced the loss of a close loved one, can feel the pain. Time does help but every day you think about them. And you miss them so much. The world goes on with their normal life, not realizing the reality that any minute their life could turn upside down forever. Just that fast. None of us know when (or if) that will happen. I'm learning this the hard way because I lost my husband a month before each you and the other lady lost your child. It was so unexpected and I still have a hard time wrapping my head around it. But what I want you to get, is there is hope. Without hope, life feels so dead and we feel that we have no reason to even go through another day. Try learning a different kind of craft where it doesn't make you think of yesteryears. Make it all new. So why am I making such a long message to a complete stranger(s)? Well, it's therapeutic to me! My heart does go out to you for the loss of your daughter, and the other lady who lost her son. I can't even imagine that. Hope. Hope will get you through this, and mainly, God will get you through this. (Hey, try woodworking, it's fun!) :)
Thank you so much for taking your time and slowly explaining. I have watched so many videos, by far this one is the best!!! Some of us need it GENTLY explained, instead assuming the beginner crafter knows the basics!!! Thank you!!!
Oh, I am so glad to hear this. I really try to break it down and explain it so everyone, even those who "need it GENTLY" can do it and have fun!! Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I'm so glad you are here and a part of our growing community.
I have a playlist with all these bases completed. They were so much fun. I have another method I call the chain method. It's a very simple way to make a base. Check out that video. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
I made my first wreath ever watching you! I enjoy hearing you speak. You make me giggle . You are so casual and clear in your instructions! Thanks for sharing. I will try 2 other methods you did .
I do like this video of different kinds of wreaths, but I do like the “start to finish” videos also. I have never seen a couple of the methods you showed so thank you for that. And your voice is very soothing😌
Wow, this is a great video. I'm looking to make some xtra cash by selling wreaths and swags for the holidays. I'm 60, and have been unemployed for several months. I've been told I have an artistic side, this is all I needed for that extra confidence. I subscribed to your channel, hoping I find some more ideas amongst your videos. Thanks so much for sharing your talent and time.
Thanks so much. I have a great wreath method, I call the chain method. It's a poof but very easy and fast to put together. Great for putting together wreaths that you are selling. There's a video on my channel. Good luck with selling and always... Have fun and enjoy the process.
I love watching you! You make it look so simple. Thank you for keeping everyone in mind by showing all the different ways people can do the wreaths and still come up with the same beautiful wreath.
I have watched many wreath videos and I believe yours is the best I’ve seen. The pace and clear instructions is so easy to follow. Thank you so much for making these.
Awww!! That's so sweet of you to say. Thank you!! It means a lot to me because that's my goal, easy to follow instructions so everyone can do it. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
I really appreciate you taking the time to show us how to make these beautiful wreaths. I have found you give the best help in the instructions and you don't chatter, you actually give great information. Thank you so much for the videos you do.😄
Karen, I am so blessed by your wonderful comment. It's a struggle for creators to know what's too little and what's too much. Some tend to chatter and it's distracting. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Catch ya later.
I have been making wreaths for about three years or so. Never used mesh because I simply didn't know how or where to learn. My daughter said, "TH-cam is your friend!" Finally, here I am and so very happy I found you and this particular video! I expect to watch this many times. One more thing. My son and I used to watch Bob Ross paint on PBS. I didn't care about painting, I just liked him. Within 30 seconds of listening to you, I thought of Bob Ross. Made my son watch you for a few minutes, he said the same thing! So I'm lovin' you!
I am soooo honored by your comment. Bob Ross is a tutorial icon and to be compared to him is truly an honor. Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I am glad this video has inspired you to venture into mesh. Thanks again!!!!
I like the pull through and the ruffle wreaths, but the ring wreath is my favorite! I like all the methods in one video so it is easier to compare the results from the different methods. Can’t wait to see the videos with the completed wreaths.
Thank you soo much for these wreath tutorials in 1 video. They're easier for me. Others look so difficult and too much of a process. These look easy that I know I can do❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am so glad to hear that. I try to make it easy so everyone will give it a try and can relax and enjoy crafting. I am so thankful you watched and commented.
I just made my 1st wreath last night. I did the bubble method, it came out beautiful. However, watching your video I'm loving the pull through method. Can't wait to try it. Thanks for sharing your time and craft.
Great help! I am an activities director at a retirement community and I needed a last minute craft for tomorrow- headed to dollar tree and turns out, we are doing green and white mesh for st Patrick’s day. Very helpful! These few techniques will be fun to try!
I like that you did all the different wreath bases. I am in the process of trying to start a business in my little country town. So this was very helpful to me. I will be looking for your video on decorations for them.
Hi Kathy. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. The wreaths are all completed. Here is a link to the playlist where you can find them. th-cam.com/play/PLZHOXhmb22snaRHFKSRug8YpEHUEMnI1g.html&si=F655nDQMVBjG_j9j I hope it helps with your business. Good luck.
Thank you for sharing how to make different wreath bases. The different methods are what I look for, I let my imagination loose on the embellishments. BTW, your voice is so soft and sweet, very relaxing 😌
Thanks for watching. I have a video where I compete each one. The decorating and embellishing is lots of fun but I love bases too. Thanks so much for you kind words.
Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I love the first method, too. It was my go to until I started doing the chain method. You should check out that video. Thanks again!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to show each type of wreath. I have been crafting for over 50 years, but never used these wire wreath forms. So I decided to try. Got some floral wire and hated every moment of it. Had to wire on my Christmas branches and it took me a day and a half. Made two for my Son, they ordered them after I had sent them a Halloween wreath. I have always worked with grapevine. So much easier to work with and you can use glue. So I have been struggling, so I am so glad I found you channel. I will be making the pull through method. Thank you so very much. I truly do appreciate you. Just subbed.
I'm humbled that I have inspired you to go for it with a wire frame. I am so glad you found my channel. I have a method that I love that is easy and fast. Check out the video, Chain Method. I think you will like that one as well. The pull through is my go to for a full wreath that will stand up to wear and tear. Thanks for watching, commenting, and subbing. Chat with you soon.
I love the way you explain how to put the wreaths together. I have lots of ribbon and 4 bases and wanted to make a wreath but the tutorials I have watched were difficult for me because I have never made a wreath before. Thanks 😊
I love to hear that. I really try to inspire and teach so everyone feels that they can give it shot. I would love to see some of your creations on my Facebook page, Dion Allen Designs. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Mimi, thank you so much. A subscriber recently commented that I reminded her of Bob Ross, while instructing. WHAT AN HONOR that was. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
Thank you so much for sharing this video. It got me motivated to start back and refreshed my memory on how to do the ones I did and some new ones. I look forward to more of your videos. Again thank you.
Karen, thank you for the comment. I love to hear it motivated you to jump back in. I have a playlist with each of these bases completed and lots of other fun stuff on my channel. I hope you will check it out.
Love this video. I wasn't a fan of the bubble method until I figured out what I was doing wrong. If you stack 2 10" rolls and only attach them to the 2nd bar, when you separate them and puff them up, there is no gaps. It works great. I did several this way for people who are picky about the frays. You can use same colors on both rolls or use mutiple colors and alternate how you separate them. Lots of options.
I'm so glad you found the channel. Today, Friday April 23rd, we turned 10 weeks old. I'm so thankful for you and each person that joins the community. Thanks for watching and for commenting.
The red and black is a fabric mesh. It is a very pliable mesh. The others are pretty standard mesh. I like Hobby Lobby mesh the best. It's usually pretty good to work with. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I like the pull through method. I have never seen that one done. I also like the crinkle one. I usually do the roll method so it was fun to learn some other techniques. Thank you for showing them all in one video. 😁
Wendy, thank you so much for the kind words and comment. As a content creator I try to motivate and inspire people to try new things and make it easier so they don't feel intimidated. Comments like yours help to motivate and inspire me to keep producing videos. Thanks for watching and commenting and being part of our community.
Thank you! I had fun just making bases and I am working on finishing them out. You can check out the completions for three of them in my WREATH playlist. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The ppl that gave this thumbs down must be a blast at parties 🙄. This is the BEST instructional video i have seen on You tube and i thank you ! New sub here🥰
Thank you so much for being so informative about how to make each type of wreath!! I am learning how to make mine different ways and your videos have been the best I have seen!! They are BEAUTIFUL to!! Thank You 😊
Throughly enjoyed each of the wreath details. Thank you for sharing your talent with beginners and going slow with easy to understand terminology. They were each beautiful, RPB
Thanks so much for noticing and commenting. I really try to just get to the good stuff. LOL Pull through is my go to on most occasions. Thanks for watching.
This is one of the best videos ever. It at least lets everyone know that there are several ways to do things and that nothing is the only way. I also like how you work and attach as you do it. And you're right the third ring is the charm because putting it on that last one it's a mess. I like to see you do some more with attachments and embellishments and you know flowers. Thanks for making this video.
Thanks for such a sweet comment. I do have several wreath videos from start to finish. Each of these bases has a video where I complete them. It's a Playlist on my channel. I hope you check them out. I appreciate your feedback. Thanks for watching.
Thank you. I loved making this video. I have three more bases to complete with the ribbons and other embellishments. Then I have a couple more multiple bases videos, one using burlap and one using poly burlap. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
Thank you for sharing and for making this alot easier to follow I've watched a few other tutorials but I truly love yours so again thank you!! I'm goin to try my hand at the mesh tubing today for the first time I just bought some and I'm dieing to try it I can't wait I'm so I'm patient lol I had bought some of the red and black Buffalo check last yr for my mom in law and mom for them as an Xmas gift with added cardinals due to they lost their spouses and we believe in cardinals are visitors from heaven so I am definitely gonna make them now after watching ur videos I don't feel so overwhelmed so thank you so much these are all so beautiful!!
Thanks so much for the wonderful, thoughtful comment. I believe the same about cardinals. I love hearing that I made it less overwhelming and easier. That is truly my goal so everyone can feel confident in creating. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
Thanks so much!! I have lots of videos on my channel. I hope you can check them out. I have a playlist where I complete each of these bases. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
New to your channel , the different methods of making wreath thank you explaining each step love it we have choices which makes sense thanks once again i will be saving this to go back on . very nice and easy going voice ..
These are absolutely beautiful! I wish u would have showed them longer like each one but the 3 color one pink yellow and green is my favorite! Thanks for this video I’m just starting wreaths and want to learn every way
Tiffany, thanks so much for the comment. I am so appreciative that you watched and took time to comment. I do have videos for each wreath where I complete them. Maybe that will give you the longer look you would like. So glad you are starting to make wreaths, it's so much fun and a great creative outlet. Thanks again.

Thank you, this was super informative and helpful! I wish you had show them all side by side so I could compare and decide which one to make! They are all so pretty. Your voice is so relaxing, nice job!!!
Denise, Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I don't think I would have a place to take a picture of them all side by side but I think thumbnail has all of them. Now you have me thinking, LOL.
Thanks you for watching and commenting. It was tons of fun to make this video. Be sure and check out all the videos where I complete them. They turn out so pretty.
GREAT video!!! Very informative for sure😁 I learned some new tricks too.. I like videos like this one, with all the different methods and forms, but also seeing a video from start to finish, without a live chat going...Loved all your wreath bases😊😊😊 So happy your channel is growing, You are one of the few best video makers out here..so no doubt your channel will grow!! Lots of luck to you and Ty for sharing your talent with us🌷😊
Lisa, thanks so much for all the kindness. Stay tuned for the bases to be completed. Just passed 8 weeks old and so excited to see the future for the channel. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Thank you and thanks for the tips. I will give that a try at some point, it sounds like a great way to do it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Very good comparison and helpful comments. Thanks

How on earth does your mesh look so soft and easy to maneuver??? Mine looks horrible when i try this technique. Yours is beautiful!
The red and black is a fabric mesh. It is a very pliable mesh. The others are pretty standard mesh. I like Hobby Lobby mesh the best. It's usually pretty good to work with. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thank you for your complete instruction! Love all bases in one video!
Thanks for watching and commenting.
I like the pull through method. I have never seen that one done. I also like the crinkle one. I usually do the roll method so it was fun to learn some other techniques. Thank you for showing them all in one video. 😁

Outstanding work My Dear. Keep on keeping on!
Thank you! I appreciate the encouragement.
Francesca, Thanks for the thoughtful and very kind comment. I will be finishing out these bases over the next few weeks. Stay tuned and thanks again.
Thank you so much! This video is fantastic for a beginner like myself.
