      @@DavesWreaths You’re very welcome! I taught myself wreath making a few years ago while in Nurse Practitioner school, just for the fun of it and to break the monotony of school. I gave it up because I just didn’t think I could do it as I’m not a very “crafty” person. So I ran across your channel a week ago or so and jumped back on the horse. I made a baby girl door wreath and an Easter wreath that I’m super proud of and that everyone loved. It was because of YOU Mr. Dave. So thanks for your lovely, soothing, and calm voice with your kind demeanor! You are just what I needed. Thanks be to God for leading me to YOU! Because this is a hobby for me, I bless others with them as I just enjoy making them. God bless you!

      @DavesWreaths  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, for this one, if memory serves me correct, I only had a little bit left. Not enough for another wreath....I'd say I had about 30" left over from this roll. Hope that helps.

  • @jennifermckern8684
    @jennifermckern8684 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Did you use that one black stem three different times? To begin with, then at the end of the first row and lastly at the end of all the poofs? My poofs never come out looking even, I measure them each time but I think I'm pulling from the others before I twist the new poof especially after the first round and part of the second round by then the third is a complete wonk wonk so I untwist and start over. At least it's therapeutic. 😏

    • @DavesWreaths
      @DavesWreaths  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Jennifer, yes, you are correct. I started at the black pipe cleaner, ended the first row there, and then ended the last poof there as well. I always hold down my last poof when measuring he next one, just to make sure I am not pulling from the previous poof. And if a poof isn't even, it's not the end of the world either...you can just pull it through the next or previous stem and even it out a bit. Hope that helps a bit. Happy wreath making.

    Is there a video on how to decorate this one?

    • @DavesWreaths
      @DavesWreaths  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there, unfortunately, for this base wreath, I did not do a decorating video on it. There are other base wreath videos on my channel that show how to decorate various base wreaths. Hope that helps a bit.

    What size of poufs would you use on an 18" wreath?

    • @DavesWreaths
      @DavesWreaths  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Peggie...I haven't used the poofs for an 18" wreath form yet. But I would say maybe go 6" larger and see how that looks. It's all about experimenting sometimes. Let me know how it turns out. 😄

    Why can I use if I can’t find pipe cleaners

    • @DavesWreaths
      @DavesWreaths  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kelly…if you can’t find pipe cleaners, you can always use floral wire or tie wraps. They come in handy when you don’t have any pipe cleaners. Hope that helps. 😊
