Welcome to another tutorial! As you can tell from the title, we are focusing on custom candle labels today. And more!
You have your Instagram ready, dependable suppliers on hand, and the most important thing, a uniquely curated array of scents. You feel ready to make a label for your products. But you’ve still got quite a few things to figure out before that.
A candle label is way more than just your name on a product.
Your brand identity should be the first thing you think about when you start designing a new label. Your community won't expect a minimalist brand to unveil a cluttered candle design.
You should think of your candle's label as an extension of your aesthetic. It doesn't need to be a carbon copy of your design scheme, but it should pay homage to your logo, website, and overall color palette.
So placing the logo on a label or candle jar is a great start! And this is what Sandra does here. She designs a logo for her merch series from start to finish to give you insight into her design thinking, creative process, and tips & tricks.

I love this software so much. I've used Adobe for over 9yrs now and think it's incredible that Vectornator on the iPad can do a lot of what Illustrator does, and it is free. I was blown away when I first used it.

Hi! Simply group all the elements of your graphic (be it a logo, an illustration, text, or a combination of all). Add the photo of your product to a separate layer. Make sure it's underneath the vector design layer. And with the vector design on top, scale and align to your product. You can use guidelines to help with that ✌️
