    Merci Mikael, what a wonderful work. You've made a superb buggy, congrats !🏆 I think it will be a real pleasure to run it. Nice choice for the blue body and the white wheels 💎 . Don't know why the rear tires have lightened..🔄. they did not appreciate being mistreated... My friend, it’s becoming a habit to start my Sundays with you and i like that ! 'Hope everything is ok for you and your family, thanks again for this nice moment you gave🎦 , have a great sunday mon ami, take care. 🤝

    • @NordicRC
      @NordicRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, Alex! Yeah, I like the white wheels together with the white in the decals. And then it matches my old Sand Viper 🙂 Gonna have to find some other wheels and tires some day, the white is good but design and thread is awful. Yeah, seen it before, and been told it is leftovers from the manufacturing process, so thet don’t stick, but this time even soap and water couldn’t get it off ☹️ Have a great Sunday too, my Southern Friend 🙂

    • @NordicRC
      @NordicRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice, Matt! Love the DT-03. So Tamiya’ish ☺️ No great need to go down the hop up path. My Neo Fighter DT-03 only has the essentials: ball bearings, steel pinion. Runs great and still a lot of fun 🙂

  • @BasBoyRC
    @BasBoyRC 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Does look sweet, the buggy bodies are hard to cut out in places. The rear wings I have always struggled to get the paint right up inside at times. A good choice changing the wheels, the white rims look so much better so MS

    • @NordicRC
      @NordicRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks my good friend. Yeah, need some filing in the narrow round corners. I always mess up the sides on the wings. Always too little paint or too much, trying to get it right. Messed up my new Sand Viper wing (coming up) totally, running out of paint. Yeah, I like the white, though I would have preffered other wheels/tires, but I got so many of these, and they match the DT-02 MS.

    Nice. I was thinking of getting the Neo Fighter but the more I see of the blocky lines of the Racing Fighter, especially in non box art colours, the more I prefer the latter.
    I reckon it will look good in British Racing Green with a white roof and spoiler.

    • @NordicRC
      @NordicRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ally. Yeah, I think both of them are great designs. Very different though (round vs blocky, yes). Will look great in your color scheme I think!

  • @MarkBryanRC
    @MarkBryanRC 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    A beautiful presentation of a very beautiful Racing Fighter, Mikael! Love that Tamiya blue and the contrasting white wheels - good to see a different take on the colour scheme and a fitting stablemate to your blue DT02. A very relaxing and enjoyable Sunday viewing - thanks my friend! :-)
    PS Try spraying some WD40 on the rear square spikes - it may get rid of the white releasing agent!

    • @NordicRC
      @NordicRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, Mark! Means a lot to me coming from you. You got a beautiful Racing Fighter too. Yeah, I like the white, but you probably know what I think of the wheel and tire design. Would love to be able to change all my DT buggies to the Star Dish white wheels, square spiked rear tires and then the narrow ribbed off road wheels. But so expensive, if buying them new, and I need at least four complete sets. But yeah, the ‘stablemate’ (love that word) mission is complete 🙂 Thanks again, Mark, hope you are having a good relaxing Sunday too.

    • @MarkBryanRC
      @MarkBryanRC 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@NordicRC Thanks, Mate, our two Racing Fighters would look fantastic running together! Yes, I knew you would think that about the wheels and tyres, I feel exactly the same, but money is always an issue, so it is good to use and re-use what we already have. My Sunday is very relaxed, than you, hope yours is too.

    • @NordicRC
      @NordicRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, they would look fantastic together and it would be a blast :-) Problem now is that I feel it's too pretty and clean to go out in the rain and mud. So will wait a little while :-) I forgot to thank you for the tip about the WD-40! Will try it out. Yeah, that stuff can de-grease almost everything. I didn't think about that. Thanks, Mark!

  • @PeteWylieRC
    @PeteWylieRC 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Love the music mix on this Mikael. Makes a video of a bloke building an RC car into an epic movie! Anyway, it looks smashing. That Tamiya metallic blue is always a winner. My TT-02B tyres which are the same as that on the rear did exactly the same thing. They looked ok and then when I stretched them around to get them on the wheels they went all peculiar with the white stuff. Hopefully it will come off when I run it which I haven't yet due to the moist conditions outside. It's big wheel trucks only at the mo! Your rear suspension looks a bit soft to me so maybe thicker oil or a piston with fewer holes would be good. Anyway top work all round matey. You have pimped this up to the max! Look forward to seeing it out and about :-)

    • @NordicRC
      @NordicRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Pete! Somehow your wonderful comment escaped me, my friend! Better late than never. Ha ha, yeah, I hope Hollywood would pick up this genre. I bet there are billions to be had in ticket sales at the theater ;-) Yeah, the PS-16 has never disappointed me. Always a winner. A bit boring with this one color, but looks smashing anyway in my opinion. It's hard to paint in the winter I think. Yeah, strane with these. Just fitted the exact same new tires on the Sand Viper and they where fine. Mark gave me a tip, and I applied some WD-40, and washed it off. They are fine now :-) Yeah, I do not run any of my buggies outside at the moment. Only trucks. Well, also the little ones (non-Tamiya). Ahh, you noticed the rear dampening too. I was very surprised when filming and testing that. But no writing allowed in these videos (my own little rule). Well, I still need to sort out the diff, the camber/toe-in-out and gonna try to re-oil the rear dampers with some thicker oil too. I think I added the same oil (yellow #400) as in my DT-02 MS so surprised. But maybe the pistons are wrong. It's a second hand. Will need to check. Got all winter :-) Yes, pimping it up to match the DT-02 MS. Brothers :-)

    • @NordicRC
      @NordicRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The whole damper set comes stock with the DT-02 MS. I don’t think the springs have been released individually. I know I got a 3-piece set of white DF-03 springs somewhere though. Maybe the softest set in that pack is actually the ones they included in the MS.
