Im shocked so many people like the H-pipe more here. Not that any of them sound bad because they dont but i like the raspier sound of the x-pipe, its what makes the coyote sing. The h-pipe seems to be more neighbor friendly. Deeper/muffled sound.
Best sounding Coyote in my opinion is with BBK 1 7/8 headers, catted X-pipe, stock resonators, and Corsa Extremes. If you can't afford all of that, a muffler delete, resonator delete and after market H-pipe is the only other way to go. Every other option to me ruins the car. These Coyotes are notorious for having owners that straight pipe them, going catless with an X-pipe, and they sound awful like that.
It’s interesting. At startup x and h sound the same. At Rev, takeoff and drive by the x is a little more raspier than h but not much. The h pipe does sound a little deeper, but almost sounds like it’s strained or chocked up to me. The db meter reads much louder on the h than the x so the x pipe is friendly on the neighbors. Tuff choice though. Need to here in person I think
It’s a matter of Personal preference. There’s not a single one that is “better” than the other. Whatever u like, that’s the best choice. Just put an X pipe on my Mach 1 and it sounds beautiful.
It has a resonator that acts like a secondary muffler towards the front of the exhaust. We show the install in the full video if you want to check out what it looks like.
Trust me when I say. Go X pipe delete the cat and resonator and go with a moderate sound level muffler preferably a flow through style something like the flow master flowfx. Smooth deep sound that will stay that way and be more than loud enough for most people. And when I say loud I do mean wake the neighbors loud. Not borla attack wake the neighborhood loud. Edit: also short/mid length headers. I went with the afe twisted steel ones. And 3 inch pipe from the header straight back. That will help create a very deep note.
Please do not buy a Mustang and put a fucking H pipe on it, if u want deep go buy a ss get the 5.0 Put some Catless LTHs with a X pipe and let the motor sing.
I went H-pipe...couldn't be happier.
Is it much louder than stock?
@@andrewhaberberger4903 It's definitely discernable especially on start up and WOT.
It makes it sound more exotic
All I can think about is that Office meme of Pam going "They're the same picture"
H pipe sounds so good in person.
Surprisingly the stock exhaust sounds loud enough
It’s never loud enough
It has volume but it isn’t very characterful. My x pipe did wonders in livening up the driving experience
H pipe happens to sound better on these cars. X pipe is a bit to high pitch in my opinion
😮
It's because X provides better flow.
X is ass H better
Well done ...movie time. ...learning all my life everyday...........thank s
Test on manuals please for the fly bys!

exactly. Deeper.
Yeah that deep classic American muscle sound. H-pipe the way to go. Deep and throaty sound
If you heard h pipes in person they sound much more high pitch and loud painful to the ears

I thought the H-pipe is louder.

H pipe has a real nice throaty sound imo
Anyone know if H-pipe sounds good without active exhaust?
Nothing can beat the Mustang 🗿🗿😎😎🍷🍷🍷
Except a crowd of people 😂
@@davidcohen2474something a gmc or dodge guy would say! Lame! Stop it
@@stepsimpson2815It's true though and i am neither of those 2. 😂
Nothing else bro mustangs affordability , looks , sound , and mod market which is insane MUSTANG FOR LIFE 👏🏾👏🏾
@@Jens_Roadster cap! Mustangs aren’t the problem, drivers are and they come in all kinds of car make and models!
Stock sounds best. The pipes may be louder but they loose the depth. I love the deep sound stock exhaust makes.
I love the X pipe😊
H Pipe for the win!!
H pipe for sure. If the H pipe isn't stock on this car, what does it have?
It has a resonator that acts like a secondary muffler towards the front of the exhaust. We show the install in the full video if you want to check out what it looks like.
Maybe it's cause it's a video but I can't hear a difference
Even the measurements in DB meter were the same for all 3
All sound good

Tell you what, none of those exhaust sounds even come close to a 2019 stock Bullitt. I’m telling they did something damn right with the Bullitt sound
I’ve got a X pipe on mine but I wanna switch to H
I'll never understand why you'd go X pipe on a muscle car
It’s not that deep bro it’s just a sound preference, barely enough performance to actually matter
Is a self snitching car, still a muscle car??
To get arrested for speeding
@@nitodiaz8636 I mean if Europeans make bigger V8s is it really a muscle car or a pony car
Because you like the sound it produces. Simple really.
Sin duda el tuvo H❤
Not much of a differenece in this video from XPipe to Hpipe
H pipe ftw
God, I love the X!! H is restrictive.. fyi.
H pipe sounds like a badass traditional v8 though.
I believe they did a test and the H pipe actually made more power over the X.
These S650’s sound SO Good with an H-Pipe! Truly suits it well
Steeda Steeda 😊
Is that a 9.5 inch wide rear tire?? Wtf Ford?
I put 11’s on mines immediately & 10’s on the front
@ULIEINTOME 2024?
My 06 3V sounds a million times better 👌
Don’t believe you
It just sounds bad on each
If thats the difference, spare your money.
I love men
Always go with the H
Its stock for me…
Please do not buy a Mustang and put a fucking H pipe on it, if u want deep go buy a ss get the 5.0 Put some Catless LTHs with a X pipe and let the motor sing.
H pipe all the way
H
X wins
Manual cars sound better than autos
