Also majority of cases in neurosurgery are trauma in accidents and even the incidence of that is much more in India. Even government data shows we are lagging behind a lot in surgical sub-specialties, so kindly share the data you are basing your comment on, because I never came across such.

That's the starting salary (40-50 lakhs pa), it goes upto 60-80 lakhs for 80 percent and for the rest 20% which become famous it's the sky which is the limit
@@subhabratadatta nah buddy, I feel medical is one field in which harder you work, the more famous you'll be and more you'll earn. If you are an entrepreneur along with a doctor, then you can earn much than people earned due to ideas like swiggy etc (medical entrepreneurs earn more but are not famous as there products are bought by hospitals and not by patients). Hence don't worry about the earnings if you wanna join this field. There's a reason why in recent years more students appear for neet than jee. Also you'll be paid 50-80k per month during residency with free accommodation and subsidized food, so you don't have to depend on parents. Hence if you are a student, don't worry about money in this field.

Bonuses are not something everyone gets. You start getting bonus for every patient after you reach a certain required number of patients in a year. Hence due to it's variability, I didn't include it.
