Covent Garden is in dire need of upgrading - it needs a new ticketing area with escalators down, getting the money for that and doing it without damaging the original station features too severely is obviously easier said than done though. Lifts should remain available for people with reduced mobility, but are very inefficient at moving large numbers of people up and down - escalators do that job much better. I went down the stairs once, and the people going up were really struggling for their breath, and the stairs just kept going on and on. You think 'surely I must be near the bottom by now', but nope, there are always still more, as though it's some magic staircase where more stairs appear to bring you down into the abyss. Going up the stairs would be a struggle, but it would certainly keep you fit!
Don't bother with the corridors at Green Park. Using the escalators (as long as you walk) will be quicker (except between the Jubilee and Victoria (and vice versa)).
He very often takes roundabout and longer routes just because that's what he likes. I'd probably do the same from time to time if I lived in London and weren't in a rush (I only go up there a few times a year)
and remember this: between covent garden and Leicester Square, it only has the shortest distant train journey on the network, so to change for the Northern line at leicester Square, it only takes a few seconds to stop there on the Piccadilly, then change for the Northern line! otherwise, stay on the Piccadilly line like he's currently doing in the video!
AAWAism A It is very difficult to film in the carriage of the tube or metro, as I’ve tried many times in Japan and Taiwan, everyone seems to be uncomfortable and staring at me
@@nicholashon7529 I find it easy filming the Jubilee line trains and the Underground here. Just don't point the camera at anyone. To be honest not much people are observant.
I love the content and am fascinated with the tube, but I hate to be that guy but could I offer you some feedback? I watch these videos because I like to drink in the surrounding area, and sometimes it feels like you're practically power walking to your destination. So much so that sometimes there's even camera shake. It just portrays the anxiety that a commuter usually experiences, and that's not what we want from these videos. Just slow down dude. Lovely content, keep it up 👍

@@katiegilbey9007 It isn't its the sound of Metro Cammel motors.
The jubilee line sounded like it had problems with the traction motors when pulling away

It is much quicker to travel from Leicester Square Station to Waterloo Station by only using the Northern Line
I think this videos are not about to get the fastest way

Why are the sounds at 12:41 so noisy and sound so faulty
Because the engine is broken
Why the girl is eating there at the jubilee line in green park station
Inside the train or outside?
What camera did u use?
Take the lift at Covent Garden next time plz =]
Yeah, the stairs are only supposed to be used in an emergency anyway
@@juoig7799 it's not the law - the lift is boring to look at - it will be too packed with people. Besides, taking the stairs is good exercise!
sheesh, that's a lot of stairs.

Come on dude. Everyone knows you shouldn’t take the stairs at Covent Garden 🤦♂️
Take the lift
The stairs there are "Equivalent to a 15 Storey Building".
Yeah
You should take a Lift instead Of the stairs
