      Did he kept the bad habit of adding "my love" to every goddamn sentence? Ahah seen them a couple years ago and it was annoying as hell

    I completely agree. There are so many elements to this video that make it fantastic - particularly the ones you mentioned. I also think the set and lighting both deserve a mention though.

    Probably their best song. So sad that they did not make it in the states. I wish they would get back together & give it another shot.

    They weren't getting high on tea, but 'tea parties' were indeed what the beatnik get-togethers were called." They had decided to name their new group The Tea Party after the infamous hash sessions of famous Beat generation poets Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs.[1]"
    It's not 'gay' if you're versed in some of their philosophy. If not, then I've got no problem with people not enjoying their music because of their name. There's more meaning in their name than most bands.

    So, what's the meaning...?

    • @MrBeard17
      @MrBeard17 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      poemsin Alot of songs are about break-ups and I took it as his woman made a choice of leaving him and he thought it was a bad decision (or maybe its about someone else s relationship).
      You wanted this
      So sad to see
      The sweet decay
      Of ecstasy
      And you want it all
      A frozen sun,
      Will guide you there
      As shadows hide
      The deep despair
      I'll give you something more
      And you'll fade away
      One last kiss before
      You fade away.
      So sleep tonight,
      In idle dreams
      The pain will drown,
      Your silent screams
      And you want it all
      I'll give you something more
      And you'll fade away
      One last kiss before
      You fade away
      Lives you once adored
      will fade away
      Lies you can't ignore
      You soon repay
      As you fade away

    I agree Much has really gone down hill since the late nineties. VJ's don't seem too intelligent or informed about anything other than the most recent Britney scandal, music videos are repeats of popular hits. I miss the grungy, experimental Much music of the past. =P

    One of my favorites of the band. Check out this awsome acoustic cover by "The Morrisons" with percussion and violin: th-cam.com/video/FxpmS6RG7Dw/w-d-xo.html. Hope you like it too!

  • @the_black_arts
    @the_black_arts 16 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's not their fault that people are too stupid to know about The Beat Generation and gentlemen like Jack Kerouac, Allan Ginsberg, William S. Burroughs, etc. Their 'tea parties', where they would spend all night getting high and discuss anything and everything under the sun is what they are named after. Sorry, but that's brilliant. Are 'Tool' or 'Staind' better names?

  • @the_black_arts
    @the_black_arts 16 ปีที่แล้ว

    'The Party' would have been fine if they had been interested in attracting frat boys and sorority girls as fans. Opinion is subjective though. There's a boatload of people out there who think Led Zeppelin was a stupid name as well.
