What we did with the old SPI wargames with the paper maps was use a sheet of 1/8” thick plexiglass over the mapboard to flatten it out and make it easier to move the little cardboard unit counters.

However I would encourage you to share your negative thoughts on products you look at also, even if its a freebie or a sponsorship, otherwise it just starts to come across as an advertisement. I think this would hurt your long term viewership as people always want to feel like a product is being discussed from a neutral standpoint, as that is the standpoint we would be buying it from. Praise to a game only has meaning if the viewer knows you don't have a problem to pick faults. Just food for thought as it seems you are looking into a wider field of products recently and I think your stance is a big factor in viewer retention. Cheers! P.S. I love how they did the terrain, I wished warhammer would play more around with that The models look cool, it looks a lil token heavy for a Skirmish game but would love to see a batrep or how to play vid
Having played Wildermyth on PC for months and months, cardboard terrain has a certain charm to it which more realistic terrain fails to capture. This terrain is beautiful, and while I don't really need to look for a new game this looks like something I'd love to start on once I complete my Age of Sigmar pile of shame.
They describe the models as 'high quality resin'. They feel robust and not brittle with some fine details. You can buy the models separately too, so might be nice option for use in other games.
It's refreshing to see a box containing a full table of terrain with a full game. Fantastic 👍.
