It's made clear in the Webtoon that what really happened was that one of his "skins" got killed, but since it was done in a way that left no evidence, it meant he couldn't report Endorsi or Yuri for their actions - As stated in the video, Hansung did indeed reveal part of his plan to Bam when the two went to go talk to the Administrator. Specifically, Hansung says it's because the Tower wouldn't want someone like Bam in it, someone selfless enough to help another at the cost of their own skin, and Bam throws back that the reason Hansung must be so catty is because he didn't find anything worth cherishing in the Tower. - After Lero Ro and Quant get fired, Lero Ro specifically states he's going to the 77th Floor - Finally, after Rachel pushes Bam, we get a scene between her and Hwaryun. When Hwaryun asks Rachel why she's going to such lengths to see the stars, Rachel states its because she's afraid of the night

Bam wasn’t selected by the tower, and neither was Rachel Bam just wanted to follow Rachel hence he “opened” the gate the 1st time when he was above Rachel and Rachel fell in. Bam is the Real “Irregular” here. Rachel is just an “Outsider” who accidentally came in when the “gate” was opened. Hence she isn’t blessed by Shinsu, nor can she access it

Regulars are beings born within the Tower and are chosen by Headon to climb it. You don't need to be strong or anything to be an Irregular, you just have to be born outside the Tower and get inside without being selected by Headon, no matter the method used. Baam was chosen by the Tower itself, and Rachel made a deal with Headon, so both Baam and Rachel would be considered Irregulars.

Evan looks weak but he is actually a big deal in the tower. He’s a top 100 high Ranker and the chief royal navigator which means he’s the best navigator outside of FUG and Wolhaisong(Urek Mazino’s faction). He’s higher ranked than Yuri by a lot as well so he’s actually the most senior person in that squad.
Red witches and Silver dwarves can both see the future path, but both in a different way. They focus and see different things. Yu Han Sung in 1st season is already great but later on I just love him! With art being upgraded later on, he is so cool while so beautiful. And once he actually fights, it's so pretty!

It also required everyone to trust the others to do the things that they could not, in order to help someone other than themselves (Rachel being the outlier). Bam and Rachel weren't able to leave their bubble and had to count on the other members of their team to essentially do all the test without the two of them able to help. The others had to trust Bam and Rachel to survive and each other to carry out their tasks. Kinda symbolic, since Bam intends to carry Rachel up the tower but isn't capable of doing it alone. This test is meant to put that aspect in the spotlight, Rachel as a burden, Bam unable to take part in the majority of the test, and relying on everyone else to carry him and her on their shoulders. Rachel again is shown that she is unfit to climb since everyone except her is doing their part, while she gets to become the anchor that drags the team down, ironic, bc it's a damn good team that could carry her even had she stopped pretending to be dead weight and actually pulled some of her own. The big reveal of "did they make it thru?" was for the others who did everything to support the two of them, while being unable to see if the plan was working, and we're essentially being tested in their ability to pull that anchor across the finish line. The other part of it, and this applies to every test, is to not fuck it up. Which is apparently nearly impossible for denizens of the tower, since we saw half of the main characters take actions that unless corrected for would have potentially caused the group to fail. I enjoy the writing of setting the tests to test for the specific request being asked of the administrator.

Rachel is an Irregular by technicality imo. My headcanon, which may or may not be true, is that the reason why she was chosen was only to motivate Bam to climb. The tower knew that if it just chose Bam then Bam would have no reason/motivation to climb the tower in the first place. So the tower knew it had to grab Rachel first out of necessity to give Bam a reason at the beginning.
That pretty much a lie as Rachel is the author's favorite character and her role is significant to the story as she have a lot of secrets that she hide from Baam and the part of that is Rachel already knew Baam before they meet and because of certain person that related to Baam
About the gate thing, the gate chose bam but remember that Bam didn't want to go. Rachel is the only one who desire to climb it, so she goes. The gate open again for Bam, and his desire to chase Rachel makes him wants to go to whatever behind that gate is. So he goes. That's what i understand of why Rachel could climb the Tower eventho the gate isn't opening itself to her. And it's still a debate wether Rachel is irreguler or not cause technically... She is an irreguler. She came from ourside the tower.

And yeah, the author made Rachel ugly (except she's not ugly, but I guess Korean beauty standards are insanely high xD), he also said she's his favourite character and I agree.
