Looking back in the 80's we had the Phoenix, the citation, the Calais the cavalier, the cimmaron the Skylark the k kars. I never thought any of them were ugly at all growing up... Looking back now compared to what we have today they were undeniably gorgeous cars all of them ....
The Oldsmobile reminds me of the car that appeared in the opening sequence of "Newhart," driving serenely through Vermont...a Royale no less... Considering the Chevette made it to (nearly) 40 years, not quite the throwaway car they were considered (ha-ha)...Diplomat makes me think of an unmarked city cop car, in that same murky shade of gray they all seemed to have...It seems a contradiction that Jeep Cherokees came in two-wheel drive, but customers in the southern states wanted to have the "cool" new Jeep--but didn't need four-wheel drive! Jeep was losing customers to Ford and Chevy, which had two-wheel-drive Explorers and S-10 Blazers....here's to crushing even more in 2024!
While that Chevette might have made it almost 40 years, I have a feeling that at least 25 of those 40 were spent sitting in a field and or the junkyard.
As a 90s millennial seeing 70s 80s cars being crushes seems perfectly normal to me as i gre up seeing the in derbys and being crushed by monster trucks on SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY😂...but when i start seeing 90s and later cars being crushed .....a chill runs up my spine 😨
hey where are you located? I know its to late now that you crushed it but we have a 2 door chevette we need many body parts and side marker lens grille etc. Do you have more chevettes out there?
Thank you Mr. Korvan for your new video .. we enjoy it , please keep going ... svp un tres bonne fin de année et reveillon . Kind regards Appel , lacave 46200 sud la france . 👍😊
My mother had a Chevy chevette. It was color red but it wasn't a great running card. Had a lot of problems with it. Thank you. I had the distant cousin to that I had a 75 Vega. What a piece of junk that car was.
Probably because I think some people wanted the 2wd version instead of the 4wd ,mainly because usually they ride so much comfortable and smooth but yet loved the Body style , 4wd jeeps usually rides rough and I guess wanted that jeep but wanted one that rides smooth like a car I am assuming ,
@@nickythebull82 Most of them dont even have wheels, some of them even have plants growing through them, and also if they've ended up in a scrapyard you can safely assume they no longer run and drive. And they usually take the engines out before crushing since they are hard to crush and are somewhat valuable
@chrisheffernan7540 I would've thought they drop them into a big vat of molten metal that burns up all the easily burnable stuff like the seats and plastics, and turns the metal to liquid to be formed into chunks of metal to make new cars out of.
Love your videos but your loader is 2 slow u should buy faster 1 like cowboy car crushing who on utube it faster pack's fhe cats in faster plus the forks on his loader are shorter 😂😂😂
*I have a love/hate relationship with the crusher. I hate to see the old classics go, but I sure do love the crunch.*
Same. It's a shame to see em go, but it's so much fun to watch
It’s the glass popping for me.
It's sad until you realize some of the classics are too far gone to save.
Most of Corvan crushes are totally rusted messes
Yeah its a classic car But who really cares for old 4 doors because i never see one on the road i already see 2 doors
It would drive me nuts to pay that operator an hourly wage.
Man some of these 80s cars have been sitting a LONG time when you watch these videos. Time capsules!
Yeah. Last time I saw 1970s and 1980s cars on the road often was almost 15 years ago, so many of the cars likely sat for a long time.
Just pure crushing without the drama off some other channels 😊
Yes, and much less talking then some other channels!
You mean ALL other channels….lol
But the other guy you mean is much, much quicker. He crushes ten cars while this one crushes perhaps three!
@@izmirubel9821 More than 3 crushing channels but this is the only one for us crushing purists 🤣
@@jjMcCartan9686 I watch this one and Death Row Crushing. Can you tell me another one?
That Oldsmobile seen better days, but still a classic! All these cars are getting diminish and parts for them are getting more expensive!

Old Jeep was being stubborn, like trying to put a cat in a carrier.
It didn't want to get crushed
Oh my cat would hiss and growl and one time scratched the fuck out of me.....
I had 2 vettes in high school; a Corvette and a Chevette. Both red, both very fast because of the paint .................

China getting lots of material
Love this channel
The next one looks like a Jeep Laredo type of model. I had a Jeep like that once. It was very good for a good number of years.
Always great crushing videos!
I JUST noticed that 73 Delta sedan had door edge guards on it.
Another great crushing video!! Thumbs up!!
Poor Chevy Chevette
That poor crusher ,, running the forks thru the back wall , easy there Captain
Aussies would restore that green yank tank. 🦘🇦🇺
Great videos 🎉🎉🎉
Surprised the derby boys didn't get that 1973 Delta 88

🫢Not the Diplomat!!

Kabelboom eruit slopen !
Was the Jeep a California car? 2wd Cherokees were very rare outside Cali...seems like you'd want 4x4 in Wisconsin 😉
It "was" your father's Oldsmobile
Actually Grandpa's
100% crushing! No Talking! Reality destiny for all junk, old & new.
Is this the fork lift driver's first day? Painfull to watch..

The ones being crushed were by no means classics.
I see we have the old operator back again!
3:50 hey look there's Mike Ehrementraut's car!
2.44am and im watchin cars being crushed..
why not take the tires and glass out of them first...
I never understood a reason for a 2WD Jeep Cherokee.
Probably because I think some people wanted the 2wd version instead of the 4wd ,mainly because usually they ride so much comfortable and smooth but yet loved the Body style , 4wd jeeps usually rides rough and I guess wanted that jeep but wanted one that rides smooth like a car I am assuming ,
ppl who comment about loving older vehicles being crushed are definitely do not appreciate older vehicles, not 'car' (guys) ppl 😡
Lots of cars never were and never had any chance of becoming classics.
Ik krijg er tranen in mijn ogen als ik dit zie!!😢😢
That should buff out if u wanted to restore it
Do they still run and drive?
Well the crusher doesn't drive but runs pretty good.
...what does it look like
@@SoupyMittens maybe?

El Chevette desapareció 😳 aquí en Europa circulan algunas Cherokee del 1991 aquí la vendieron con motor Diésel motor Renault
I need a chevette grill😢
The third car that pushing in looks like a 75 to 78. Chrysler Cordoba.
It’s a Dodge Diplomat. I had an 86.
This is my dream job 👍🏻
Where do crushed cars go to?
To a shredder

2:12 - sad to see this Citation getting crushed 😢
there was no citation, there was a chevette
@@markclark394 I thought it was a Citation. Looks nearly.
Bye bye Rickys car

Recycling cars.
I watched this video twice and I didn’t see any Corvette getting crushed.
CheVette, not CorVette)
